I was just scammed for ~800m - I admit that it's mostly my own fault but it made me think what could be done to combat these scams. and what I thought of was;
Trade-pull scam:
If you get a trade offer and the scammer moves into a pvp zone, accepting that trade pulls your character into that pvp zone - this could be combatted by either removing the mechanic that forces two characters to stand adjacent to eachother to trade, or putting up barriers that the player needs to click (like those at the Ferox Enclave) in order to exit safe-zones in PVP-worlds
Clan-kick scam at Corp:
If you enter a clan-instance at Corp, then kicking the player from the clan shouldn't automatically kick them from that instance. Either have the player leave on their own volution, or give them 10 minutes before they're automatically kicked from the instance.
Teleport-to-pvp:
any teleport that teleports you to a pvp-enabled zone, should have a warning before the player is teleported.
General reporting behaviour;
I think it's just my own curiosity, but a case system where if you report someone, you can track that report in your account, so you can see what happened to the report. If it got denied, if the player got banned, or if it's being handled at the moment. I'm often deterred from reporting thigns because I don't have something tangible or visible to show me that things happen with reports. Even some Pmods have told me that they are dissatisfied with the lack of feedback from reports.
Barb. Assault bank lure;
Instead of only the tile in front of the chest being a safe zone, make the entire building a safe zone like any other bank.
