So first off, I'd like to suggest something I suggest back when this actually was 2007. A new class of armor. Scale Armor. The idea would be it fall between plate and chain. Much like how Chain gives high crush def but poor slash, Scale would give good crush(better than plate) but not as good as chain. However it would have higher slash defense than chain, but lower stab.

While things like Chain are under used outside of Iron Men, Dragon Chain, and the rare person who just hasn't done Dragon Slayer and uses Rune Chain it would still add something new to the game and could potentially see more items of the same class added such as Dragon Scale Mail.

Next thing, the TokTz-Mej-Tal(Obsidian Staff) needs to be reworked... You made Ahrim's a one handed weapon AND gave it a magic damage buff. The Obsidian staff as a weapon.. it sucks. Its not as good as the Smoke Staff which is much more accessible even though it's cheaper. It's main benefit is it offers a Prayer bonus. But that's not really that useful when it's currently the ONLY two handed staff in the game.

So I propose one of two things happen... Either rework it to be a one handed weapon and also rework the Tzhaar-Mej drop rates on it as they are currently like 1/5000 for something that's only value at the moment is use in Construction. Or... Make it a Powered Staff akin to the Tridents. Charge the staff with Tokkul or something and give it a spell to cast much like the one the Tzhaar-Mej cast on you when attacked. Either way it's drop rate should probably be reworked.

Lastly I'd like to see Penance Armor get a set effect again. But this time, like Void, depending on which Penance helm you use, change the effect. Because as it stands, the Fighter Torso and Penance Gloves are really the only things with value. Perhaps to an Iron Man the boots and such may have use but the majority of the player base it's all useless except those two.

Add a notification to the "Peek" options to say "an adventurer *was* here" for up to 60? seconds after the cave was vacated.

This would alleviate some of the conflict for bosses that are usually killed and house tele to use pool in between kills (Thermy, KQ, Sire) and "their" worlds getting yoinked mid run-back. "I was here, plz hop" type issues.

Most PVMers aren't looking to crash and would probably take the "recently vacated" message simply as "world is taken" and hop to a new one.

I've seen this idea discussed before but how about adding an option for your character to sit down?

I've heard people argue against this seemingly innocuous feature saying that it's pointless due to stamina potions or graceful outfits or even that it shouldn't be added because it wasn't an 07 feature. Some rebuttals to this:

1- So what if potions or the graceful outfit exist, why not have sitting on top of all of that? It's not like this feature would make them redundant or anything. The graceful outfit allows you to have better stamina recuperation while on the move whereas sitting down forces you to.. well.. sit down. But even if for some reason that's unacceptable I go to my main argument -

2- It's NOT about the stamina, it's about immersion, player expression and interacting with your environment and adding another social aspect that would enrich the game's experience. You don't even need to have a stamina recuperation function to it, just make it an active emote. Imagine walking around the GE or any major city and seeing people sitting around in some corner chatting with each other and just chilling out? It's an action that would make the game seem more lively and human, instead of just constantly seeing static standing bodies either walking or running around that you're never sure are bots or not. A good example of in game behavior that expresses the same concept is when you see two people following each other while they're engaged in conversation.

I have this memory from back in the day (08-09) where I was runecrafting water runes and inside the altar area where there's a little piece of land on the edge of the island I noticed there were a couple just sitting down there having a conversation, was really nice to see that and I never forgot about it.

Finally, and I don't expect this to be taken too seriously due to the scope but, it would be cool if all seats, benches, chairs, etc. in the world were intractable just like their POH counterparts.

Made a new thread on this topic before checking this thread, my apologies.

My suggestion is expanding the clickable area of fairy rings - in the midst of quick/efficient gameplay it's often difficult to click the center of the ring on the first try. Expanding the clickable area to the outer circumference would solve this issue.

I don't see how this could have any negative impacts on game mechanics or lore.

Thanks!

Can someone please explain why on earth do you lose your ornate maul handle when reverting? This is the biggest fail ive ever seen. So you lose 800k from reverting something you paid for? Im literally baffled at the fact it just disappeared.. Like seriously. Its a tradeable item. Like this totally needs to be fixed..because that makes no sense. Godly
