We're a tight-knit group of friendly players engaged in PvM, group skilling, sharing memes, and more. Sun is open to players of any experience levels or play style. We strive to create an environment for players of all skill and experience levels to grow and progress together. Sun hosts a multitude of Clan Events and competitions. We will almost always have at least one event per week, and aim to host at least one competition per month.

Weekly Events

All clanmates are welcome to join, so long as they meet basic requirements for the activity. Some frequent choices are Corporeal Beast, Nex, Chambers of Xeric, and The Nightmare.

Skill & Chills

We generally will hang out in Discord and run some sort of group skilling content. Some popular activities include Guardians of the Rift, Wintertodt, Tempoross, and Zalcano.



Generally on a monthly basis, Sun will host Clan Competitions. These include popular activities such as Skill of the Week and Boss of the Week. Clanmates compete in friendly competition for a prize pot - and some points towards their next rank!

Ranking System

Ranks are earned by being an involved clanmate and participating in group activities with fellow clanmates. Involvement is measured objectively and fairly, using a Rank Point system described below (See Achievement Diary .)

The following titles are held by admin clanmates in addition to their clanmate rank:

Owner / Co-owner

- Owners of the clan

Senate

- Handles administrative duties such as enforcing rules, ranking, logging diary submissions, etc.

Coordinator

- Assists with the organization and hosting of clan events and competitions

Attend a clan event - 5RP (for up to 5 events per calendar month)
Coordinate a clan event - 5-50RP (depending on scale of event)



Boss / Raid Uniques are valued at 1RP per 1M GP, capped at 250RP per single item.

Split Loot - Full RP value, between 1-250, to the clanmate who received the drop. 25% of the loot's RP value to all participants.

FFA Loot - 50% RP value to all participants

First Purple Bonus* +20RP to entire party

*First Purple bonus is awarded for any purple which is the first purple a clanmate has seen with the clan, per person, per raid, regardless of whose name the purple was in.


Teach a clanmate a raid - 2RP Per KC + 10RP per 10 KC (Streak bonus)


Loyalty bonuses are granted based upon how long you've been a member of the clan.

1 month - 50RP
3 months - 50RP
6 months - 100RP
1 year - 100RP
1.5 years - 200RP

There is a difference between offering advice and unsolicited coaching.


A person's account or ability should not dictate how you treat them as a person, ever.


This should be obvious. No harassing anyone for any reason. If you have to ask yourself if it's okay, it probably isn't.


Use our Discord channels appropriately. Our chat room voice channels are considered to be open hangout rooms for socializing and clan events. If you are doing an activity that requires focus or communication, we recommend using a party channel.


Just because we are in the same clan does not mean every activity is open invite. If something is not announced as being an open invitation, ask before joining. Organized clan events (on clan calendar in Discord and/or in-game) are always open invite unless otherwise stated.

Unless explicitly agreed upon before the raid / trip, all uniques obtained from PvM/Raids are assumed to be split evenly among the party.

If it's against the rules of the game, it's against the rules of Sun. Botting, scamming, targeted harassment, gold/account buying or selling, or disruptive behavior of any sort will not be tolerated.

Policies

We require that you set your Discord nickname in our server to resemble your RuneScape username(s). This makes socialization significantly easier, and helps people get to know you. Your nickname does not need to be an exact match, as long as it is obvious.


We do not insure item loans in any way. You should only lend items to people you know really well, and don't assume trustworthiness based on rank alone.

You should always ask for collateral when lending expensive items unless you really trust the person or are okay with potentially losing what you are lending. If someone in Sun does not return a loaned item, notify an Admin or member of Senate IMMEDIATELY.


Unless explicitly agreed upon before the raid / trip, all uniques obtained from PvM/Raids are assumed to be split evenly among the party.

If you want to do something other than even split, you are welcome to do so. However, it is your responsibility to make that clear before starting the activity. Otherwise, the policy is assumed to be even split and failure to split will result in disciplinary action up to and including an immediate ban.

There are also some notable exceptions:
- Arcane Prayer Scrolls: generally not split
- Nex / Nightmare: Only uniques are split.
- Corp: Varies based on group (ask beforehand.) Some trips all or specific loot is split, others only Sigils.
- GWD: Generally alch-able loot is split in addition to uniques.

Upon application approval, we will contact you with a Discord invite. Discord usage is strongly encouraged as we use it to track in-game events and to chat during raids.
