3-1. Medals

Introduction

We have 20 different medals and stars our members can earn based on their actions and impact within the clan. To obtain any distinguished medals, a member must have the previous medal already attached to their name below. To obtain stars, a member must gain specific ranks, specific amount of medals, or voted into Solis. 25 RT is given to a member who earns a medal or star. A full description of each medal and star can be found in the Discord channel #medals.

Process

In order to receive a medal or star, a member must be nominated by any member at any time in the Discord channel #medals. Council must vote on any nominee offered by members. Council then votes to award or decline the nominated medal or star. A nominee must get at least 51% of Council's vote to be awarded a medal or star. For a new medal or star to be created, or to remove a medal from a member, Council would require a 75% supermajority vote.

PVM - Medal of Monsters
REC - Medal of Recruitment
TOR - Medal of Tournament
DEV - Medal of Development
ACT - Medal of Activity (Over 99 RT)

DSKL - Distinguished Medal of Skilling
DADV - Distinguished Medal of Advice
DPVM - Distinguished Medal of Monsters
DREC - Distinguished Medal of Recruitment
DTOR - Distinguished Medal of Tournament
DDEV - Distinguished Medal of Development
DACT - Distinguished Medal of Activity (Over 300 RT)

Stars

*SOL* - Star of Solis (Voted Rank)
*LOY* - Star of Loyalty (Over 500 RT)
*VAL* - Star of Valor (4+ Medals/Stars)
*LED* - Star of Leadership (Leaders and Officers)

All medals and stars are forfeited in the event of leaving the clan, suspension, or banishment.

3-2. Rank Milestones

Introduction

We have kept record of every members Raffle Ticket number since the beginning. To be promoted, a member must reach specific Raffle Ticket milestones. If you cannot make the Saturday meeting, then message a Council member about another way to be promoted. If a member is banned or leaves the clan, they will forfeit their Raffle Ticket history as well as any medals or stars next to their name.

Process

We record attendance events and tournaments within our Discord channels #event-attendance and #tournaments. Record recruiting new members in #recruitment, and record forum bumps. During the last Saturday meeting of every month Council raffles 3 separate winners who each earn 5m. We then update the total Raffle Ticket history within this thread. Refer to the Page 1 Raffle Ticket section for more information.

Elected Ranks

If a member is elected or appointed into Council then their member rank is still updated through this list. Winning an election does not equal a permanent rank. There is only one permanent rank, Solis Elder. Leaders and Officers may step down or lose a later election and will fall back to a rank based on their total Raffle Ticket number or Solis Elder status.

3-9. Activity Requirement
=================



Introduction

Due to reaching close to max capacity of 500 members, KoA started an activity tracker designed to remove inactive members who no longer play OSRS. Members must either gain a minimum of 10k total experience per month to avoid being given a warning or reach out to a Council member to explain their inactivity (irl issues, illness, moving, etc).

Process

A warning within Discord is given to those who have not either earned 10k total experience in the past month or reached out to Council explaining their inactivity. A 2nd warning on Discord is given to those who do not gain 10k experience in 2 consecutive months. Gaining 10k total experience within 1 month will reset all warnings back to 0. No carry over XP. Members have 3 months to gain 10k experience to avoid being removed from the clan and 4 months to retain their original rank as a grace period. Please PM KoA Nevin or a Council Member if you have any concerns or IRL issues you would like to share. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis.

First Warning

- Under 10k total experience gained within 1 month.

Second Warning

- Under 10k total experience gained for 2 consecutive months.

Removed From Clan

- Under 10k total experience gained for 3 consecutive months.
- Council will remove members based on rank and tenure.

Grace Period

- After being removed, members can return within 1 month and regain original RT rank.
- After 1 month, the member can reapply as a new recruit with 0 RT.
- All returning members start with 1 warning.

Low Level Warning

- No high score placement, which makes tracking impossible.
- Due to being under 1250 total level, this is the same as a warning.
- Have 3 months to be 1250 total level or reach out to a Council member with a plan.
