Introduction

Council is made up of four Leaders and four Officers. Forming a eight member Council. Disciples help Council fulfill duties and give input for various votes and topics. The Leaders can veto any Council decision (or make thier own decision) with a 75% vote, and remove any Council member with a 100% vote. Solis Elders and Disciples can discuss various Council topics. Disciples may vote if their Officer does not vote within 24 hours. No one who has a strike can be in Council. Please refer to our Rule section (1-10) for more information on strikes.

Vote of No Confidence

A Vote of No Confidence allows Council to remove a Council member or Leader. A Council member can only submit 3 names every 3 months for a Vote of No Confidence. When passed, Council can either enact a new election or promote a Disciple.

2-2. Saturday Meetings
===============



Introduction

All events are optional.. Meetings occur every Saturday at Noon PST (20 UTC) within our Clan Hall on W353. Every member and guest are allowed to ask questions and learn about meeting rules within the Clan Chat when a meeting is in progress. Members are encouraged to help them out. The direction of these questions and answers however should be focused on discussing the rules and the meeting location. Otherwise, the Clan Chat should be focused on the physical meeting in the Clan Hall. A Council meeting will begin after the Saturday meeting in the South-East rose garden in the Clan Hall, members are welcome to join and see how Council discusses topics.

Meeting Rules

1. Please wear a "yellow hat" and your best gear & pets (optional).
2. No meeting shall last longer than 20 minutes.
3. No talking when the speaker is talking, unless asked to celebrate.
4. Type the word "hand" if you want to ask a question or have a comment.
5. The speaker will go in order from first to last hand raised.
6. There will be time for questions at the end of every speaker.
7. Donations can be given to the speaker at the end of the meeting.
8. Open Council meeting will begin after the meeting.

Introduction

On October 21st, 2020 KoA Nevin was the first member to bring back an old RS2 clan from 2010. Over the course of our first year as a Clan, four Members rose up to help guide and lead Knights of Aether. Making some minor changes to the color scheme and organization. Going from purple and silver to gold and silver. All Leaders would become some of the most active members within Knights of Aether. KoA Nevin is the only permenant Leader due to being the only one who has access to the Clan Bank and Discord admin role.

Term Limits

Leaders hold their position for 6 month terms unless they step down, earn a strike, or demoted by Council through a Vote of No Confidence with 75% votes. Any member may apply to become the next Leader by submitting their answers to the questionnaire in the Discord channel #elections. The top two candidates become the next two Leaders. Council may appoint Leaders as well.

Responsibilities

The Leaders are responsible for hosting the Saturday meetings, attending Council meetings, collect donations, gather feedback from clan members, begin Council votes, count Raffle Tickets at the end of the month for promotions, help council with all of their duties, and maintain the CC as well as Discord. They are the only rank able to ban and remove members from the CC and Discord. The Leaders, as well as all of Council, are also in charge of creating some of the most elaborate month long bingo tournaments. The Leaders, as well as Council, are also in charge of moving the clan forward with creative suggestions and improvements.

Introduction

The Raiding Officer, Disciple, and Mentors focus on organizing raid events and are the best raiders in the clan. Raid Mentors and Elite Raid Mentors are selected based on gear, kill count, and RT requirements. Head over to the Discord channel #raid-mentors for the full list of requirements.

The Raiding Officer, Disciples, and Mentors are responsible for hosting raid and PvM events, creating guides for optimal gear to bring to raids and PvM events, strategies raiding and PvM rotations, assist member with questions, and attend Saturday meetings and Council meetings. The Raiding Office are primarily the best source to find raiding assistance. Since they usually stay up to date with new content and new strategies. The Leaders and other Council members are free to help host raid events as well as create guides. However, the Raiding Officer and Raiding Disciples should be considered some of the best raiders within the clan.

Introduction

The Skilling Office has been historically one of the oldest departments in Knights of Aether history. We began as a skilling and PvM clan with a heavy focus on group skilling events. Today we have a specific Office which focuses entirely on skilling events and skilling tournaments. Where their advice and guides help the Variety Office, allowing the best beginner events as well as host some of the most advanced skilling content in the game.

Introduction

The Variety Office is our newest Council department due to the increase requests to have beginner events and minigame evnets. Due to the nature of creating guides, Council has decided to make a department which focuses on collecting and creating beginner guides, with the help from the skilling and raiding departments. Some of the first Variety Officers and Disciples were the most active in minigame and PVM events.

Term Limits

The Vareity Officer holds their position for 6 month terms unless they step down, earn a strike, or demoted by Council through a Vote of No Confidence with 6/9 votes. Any member may apply to become the next Variety Officer by submitting their answers to the questionnaire in the Discord channel #elections. The runner up to the election will become the Variety Disciple, or appointed by a Council vote.

Responsibilities

One of the most unique departments in the entire clan. The Variety office primarily focuses on hosting the weekly variety tournaments (minigame and PvM) as well as hosting minigame and PvM events, and attend Saturday meetings and Council meetings. The Vareity office offers the best place to learn about minigame and PvM events. The Five Leaders and other Council members are free to help host beginner events as well as create guides. However, the Vareity Officer and Variety Disciples should be considered experts in minigame and PvM activities.

Introduction

The Diplomacy Office is one of the oldest offices in Knights of Aether history, dating back all the way to 2010. The Diplomacy Office is considered a very critical part of the clan. Most of the time spent within the department has historically been outside the game. Talking within the Clan Chat, other clan CCs, recruitment members in the RS forums, and Personal messaging various members and guests. The most famous Diplomacy Officer in recent KoA history has been Rainbowbobby.

Any member may apply to become the next Diplomacy Officer by submitting their answers to the questionnaire in the Discord channel #elections. The runner up to the election will become the Diplomacy Disciple, or appointed by a Council vote.

Responsibilities

The Diplomacy Officer and Disciples are the clans main representatives to other clans. As well as guiding new members and helping anyone learn more about the clan. Their responsibilities include posting the clan advertisement within the W302 GE clan board, recruiting new members through the RS forum thread, being one of the most friendly and engaging members within the CC, and attend Saturday meetings and Council meetings. For those interested in this role, you may begin recruiting any time. The Diplomacy Officer and Diplomacy Disciples are known for willing to discuss meetings, ranks, the RS forum, and other clan activities. The Leaders and Council assist with these duties.
