I figure people are against a new skill.
Specially sailing because it would be not a proper skill somehow?

Then again at what point do you think it is not a proper skill?

We got so many things and usages in Runescape specially osrs for sailing.

If you think all skills we have so far are proper skills what makes things like: slayer, agility and hunter so different?

I do think people stuck in nostalgic feelings, but do forget about the healthy progression of the game, but maybe this is just me?

I actually agree with you. Just let oldschool be oldschool. More and more people who never really played back in the day are starting to outnumber those who did and it really shows. Even though I really liked summoning I can live with the skill never coming into the game. Yet somehow a brand new un-tested skill that was never thought of back in the day gets added.

Most people are very bi-polar and will switch up on you. One day they will all say "THATS NOT OLDSCHOOL!!!" then turn around and go "HD GRAPHICS ARE GOOD" or ""DUNGEONEERING WAS FINE".

At this point, I barely play anymore since it's not really old runescape anymore. I remember quitting months before EOC, and eoc was the final nail in the coffin. Sailing may be that final nail again.
