Less than 7% of my total magic xp at 99 will have come from splashing. Besides that, it's a slower, inferior way to train, so the upward climb is only more difficult on the splasher. Oh I see now, it was a compliment!

EH, no. Also, its completely time free xp so in no way is it "harder" since otherwise the xp\hr would have been 0!

Hmm? o_o You seem passionate on the subject, lol. I disagree that it's "time free xp", as it's no more time free than afk fishing or most of anything else on RS. Splashing lasts a mere 10 minutes now, and what, a shocking hour before that excluding clan wars that required another person (which was not reliable or guaranteed XP if AFK). What does that actually come out to in terms of xp/h? Compared to the faster methods, so little that I won't even calculate it.
Time spent splashing, could be time spent gaining meaningful XP through another "time free" AFK method. So, why was I splashing? 99 Magic is my current goal, and it was something to do at work.
Either way, you're not convincing me splashing was any more "time-free" than your afk fishing XP or the many other afk methods available on RS. Your opinion seems to be constructed from the pollution on these forums and in the community, but you're free to have it.

Ya, they robbed me of ranks and generally annoyed me. I consider it the same as botting, both rely on something else doing YOUR work for you. If you want to watch something, do us all a favor and watch a TV show or movie. Hell, even Twitch is possible. None of that junk devalues my work.

You explain how I fish for 6 hours non stop without so much as touching my pc once and I'll agree with this wholeheartedly. Till then #AFKisBOTTING.

6 hours and you didn't need another person (or account if you were smart).

More then the person who didn't splash because he was not online.

Outside botting I can think of no way to play RS whilst I sleep. Feel free to correct me, and a whole lot of (evidently not so) high efficiency people who definitely lose out during sleep.

The xp was not guaranteed for 6 hours unless you, yourself, had set up two accounts to do it. Otherwise, you had no control over how soon the other person logged out.
There's always been ways to train combat that people "deem" dirty on RS. Maybe it's just time to come to terms with that, or keep beating yourself up over it.. When Pest Control was released people got insane xp rates for the longest time, before Jagex finally nerfed it.
RIP <7% of my future 99 magic, it is not up to the standards of Norne. I still don't consider splashing as OP as you make it out to be, and in any case, it's dead now. I started a few days (maybe a week?) before that nerf.

This is one of the most selfish statements I've ever read on these forums (excluding trolls), and I've been on here since 2005. The majority of time I have to play RS is while I'm busy doing other things, I will not quit playing RS to appease you.

All I do anymore is fish - 2017

What are monsters. Splashing on a rat was guarenteed 6hs if you did it right. Same for any other monster if you were smart (most aren't). Saw a few at gwds splashing imps, was funny.

Or fight till the method gets fixed...and let me ask you this. Do you support botting? If not, how can you possible support AFKing which amounts to the same base thing...xp gained by a computers work.
