Imagine if you got super lucky and smithed double bars every single time for a whole hour. You get one of those cml xp records with enough patience! Although odds are, you may hit 200m xp before that happens and then it won't work...

I'm planning to just smelt Gold ore (on furnace)... which is probably really slow but at least it'll be less click-intensive. Depending on what level you're trying to get it might be an option.
Edit: I'm 76, and to get around 85 I believe it's ~35k Gold ore with gauntlets.

I think dart tips/bolts are faster and less gp/exp. Assuming going through one bar takes the same time as smelting one ore, which I think it is.
Smith Gold Bars at the Blast Furnace. Less clicking/typing overall and it's a lot faster.
~80k/hr minimum w/ a bad team and up to 120k+/hr w/ a really good one. I think I averaged a little over 100k/hr when I did 70-86 smith.
I did 50k gold ores on the Edge furnace pre-EoC. That was a lot worse compared to my Blast Furnace experience.

Though Im sure someone like Finbarr will come in and tell me 10% increased speed isn't a direct 10% exp increase and completely ruin all my math! Though I doubt it could be a big enough difference to seriously sway the results.
Close enough for the example given. ScapeRune beat me to it anyways. 0 tick banking is possible with superheating runite but not with smithing anything on an anvil.
As for smithing methods below level 88..
1) Superheat + smelt gold at blast furnace
2) Superheat gold at a bank
3) Smelt gold at blast furnace
4) Smelt gold anywhere else (AFK)
Mith plate xp/hr is 80% of addy plate xp/hr, so *170k/hr max. I have no idea how much gp/xp that is though, probably a lot.

well tonight skip the gym got cleaned on twitch for 20 bill, that's a thing, =p
The guy was so careless, it didn't even take a long lose streak for him to get cleaned. It was definitely entertaining however short it was and showed just how many elys are in the game.
I'd be bored too
. Thats why I don't merc* or stake. I prefer attempting making my money from doing activities in the game. Somedays I wish I had enough money to be completely careless, but overall I think it helps keep me interested longer. It certainly helps me appreciate little things more-so than I would if I had multiple billions.
Also why I set myself the goal of "iron-manning" a majority of my gear.
