Proof of this "increased membership" (past what the trial gives). I can happily prove that members may drop since my alt would immediately cease to be a member!

I saw several users on reddit agree with my assement that alts werent worth paying membership for with perm f2p. Specifically a lot of them love f2p pking (enjoyable unto itself) and they only need 1 month of members or less to pump up stats for pking. So no, 1 isn't a trend, but plenty more are willing to drop for perm f2p.
