Incorrect, the bottom thread by An Altar\Live In Hell\Rising was locked becasue they had the reply they seeked and still bumped it. If you ask a question and a DEV SPECIFICALLY TELLS YOU then you bump it just to laugh at someone, yes im going to lock it.
"When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself... first, as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns, this time, as a great hero"
And some of them were...fair enough, they were 1 or two sentences without much discussion value. But if they really have no discussion value, no one will post on them and they will quickly fall off the forums. That, or following posts will spark some sort of discussion.

That's what you think would happen, but in reality they rarely go anywhere. Trust me, I've made more than enough of them in my day.

maybe but we don't need a page worth of incorrectly placed threads ever, we don't really need a page of threads all about the exact same topic (all incorrectly placed) and we certainly don't need those types of threads when they cant even be bothered to put 2 minutes worth of discussion value into the opening. Besides, keeping it all togather means Jagex can quickly locate it and see how "popular" the thread is. Split it across 500 threads and no such thing happens.

If you actually bothered to read the other posts on the last page, people began to debate whether or not it they actually SHOULD nerf the Zamorakian Hasta, not if they were GOING TO. Just because a thread shifts from its original topic (as long as it is not a destructive or inflammatory shift) doesn't mean it needs a lock.

This as well, idk if its just the RSOF community or the internet as a whole (i'm inclined to say the second one) but poorly written threads, or threads with no discussion value are basically hanging a sign on them that says "troll meet & greet" and these arent the friendly type of troll. A small small few manage to thrive at a slow pace but most just turn south and keep on truckin till they hit the dirt.

Yes, they were...6 days ago. Trust me, Altar only posted on that thread to laugh at the person who predicted corp would fail. (S)he is not looking for further discussion on it or they would have kept it bumped and running. I feel I know Altar's motives just a little better then you here...seeing as we talk on a routine basis.

But anyway, does today mark the first time a thread was moved out of feedback and suggestions and into general?
Probably, certainly the first time I've done it. Kinda backfired since the discussion seems to have pivoted 180 thanks to me (not quite my intention).
I know it's not your fault, but I do get disappointed when people lose track of the point of a thread just because you posted on it.
AMG GREEN THING, MUST ARGUE RANDOM POINTS! But ya i'm half the problem since I don't ignore them (as I should have on your thread)..
