I always thought of Brine Rats as being sneaky good normal droppers. Those death runes and raw fish and such added up, especially at lower levels and especially when OSRS was brand new lol. I guess by todays standards they're meh though :c.
yes nothing like excessive grinding for mediocre drops
before they went all easyscape it took me over 16 hours to get a lumberjack top from temple trekking. i hear it only takes 30-60 minutes for the full set now
Old School
Well, I had a master clue to finish right after I obtained my whip, one of the items I needed was a Brine Sabre, checked my bank, no sabre. OK no prob I'll go get a sabre...after 2200 kills finally got one.
Zzz lol
Nothing like the good old grinds. Personally just knocked all possible tedious grinds out at the start so I'd never have to look bad. That 100% Kourend favour a memory of the past now.

Oh I thought I was really lucky to just do 1 for the diary and get the top. Maybe I'll go back and get the full set if it's really that easy now. o:

I recently made the switch to Old School and I am looking for some friends to play with.
Currently working towards 99 (at 84) range at NMZ. My skills aren't great, but I started just about 2 weeks ago
Looking forward to meeting you guys!
Same here, I had just recently started OSRS. It's pretty fun I must say.
Being a Completionist in RS3 for about 2-3 years now (and 2-3 months from Trim), I think it's time for a change - different content. But yeah, currently I'm working on 99 Cooking. Pretty nooby, but hey... I need a 99 cape.
Anyone else wondering how people get banned without reasons or evidence? my pure got banned 12-feb-2016 for macroing (which i swear didn't do) then after a while i logged onto that account just for lols and it worked! Even though my account status was on red , i was happy and continued choppin wood and pking some nubs , but then , at this day , i was banned again , for good this time.
How do these guys ''detect'' bots? or do they just do the good old ban lottery?
