Suppose you have $60,000 to spend on OSRS, how will you spend it?

You can only spend it on OSRS allowed activities, so no gambling, no Inferno Cape service, paying millions of gp for a BH or LMS win etc.

I will definitely spend $80 of it to buy Premier Club first because it is the cheapest method for membership.

What will you suggest us to spend the other $59,200?

Several things I am thinking...

Gear... Tbow is only $1,367 each. What othe gear should I pay to win?

Is skilling better? I can max herblore all the way from level 1 in less than a day and I only need to spend less than $200. Should I buy more max skills and therefore Hiscores ranks too?

Should I buy legal account services? Should I pay some people gp to carry me in ToA etc? Or do you think I should save it for Sailing? What worries me is $60,000 is not going to be enough to buy Sailing ship carries.

Hmm... Maybe I will spend 888,888,888 gp or over 100 bonds for bank slots. But do I really need them as nobody can see I pay to win with extra bankslots...

What do you think?

I would hope you are talking about buying bonds and then buying the items and services with gps, not real world trading. The only way those services are legal in the game is when you pay gps for them.

- OP

I think I made it insanely clear that we are only talking about OSRS allowed activities. Bond is one of them of course, and in fact I listed the number of bonds and $$$ required to get them too. To be even more specific, we can also buy membership packages like Premier Club with real money directly from Jagex because it is hard to show I paid $60,000 to win in OSRS with just alts.

That said, if you want to buy membership for 1,000 OSRS alts with real money directly from Jagex,
and
they all stick to the Jagex T&S and Rules of OSRS then it is all good too, although this is not good value to me.

I think this is in response to a thread in general where guy says hes going to waste 60k on the new rs3 skill..

It wouldnt take 60k to buy everything in osrs. It might not even take 10k. We dont have outrageous economy breaking items on osrs like rs3 has. So yeah buy bonds for big gear, get all buyable 99s, and sit on max cash stack and wait for next bis gear to come, spend the other 50k. on something real.
OSRS - Filled with harassers sad...~
- Give me Private Hiscores this should not be public information! - ! REMOVE OSRS TAX !

Uh Oh! Just checked merely the 10 most valuable OSRS items on the GE that real money can buy, and found they required over 10 bil OSRS gp or 750 bonds or over $10,000 of my real money already. :(

Hmm... Not good... Seems like my $60,000 won't be able to pay to win much in OSRS. Anyway, should we spend over $10,000 real money just to buy the first 8 or 9 most valuable buyable items in OSRS? Give me a suggestion. :)

It'd be a waste of your money. Fortunately, OSRS is not pay to win. There's no way to answer this because that would be so many bonds, and gp/bonds can only go so far. The beauty of osrs is you have to devote time. For instance you say Herblore in less than a day, it's not as easy as you imply! Sure you could spend hours buying the bonds, converting the bonds, selling the bonds, buying the supplies with trade limits, then mixing them--but at least you can't just pay for the experience points!

I got one an grateful there is way to use in-game money to buy membership. Not enough games so that. Can just use in-game money I worked hard for and enjoy!

To answer your question if I "have 60,000 to spend on osrs," I wouldn't. The time spent converting and selling bonds is more valuable to me

AFAIK it takes only a few seconds to open my wallet to buy bonds with real money and put them on the OSRS GE. The time spent will be minimal.

The question is when I only have $60,000 to spend on OSRS bonds so I can pay to win, I have to be selective as $60,000 can't buy much in OSRS, hence I entertain every plausible scenario to get the most pay to win out of a limited budget of $60,000.

I'd love to see a video of you speedrunning this. Let's see you spend 60k on bonds, convert them, and sell them (if you didn't know you can only sell one in each ge slot) in seconds. It would truly be impressive.

Otherwise, again, the time spent spending that 60k would trump any number of tbows and 3rd age pickaxes (neither of which will magically make inferno doable for a person). Not to mention that you can't buy infernal cape or buy 99 rc or even your example of Herblore.

Time consumption--the beauty of osrs!

I suppose I thought of a different answer to your question though: if they had made more I would've spent 60k on the Pride Month OSRS shirts!

I can only buy about 7,500 OSRS bonds with $60,000. It only takes seconds to submit one GE offer. Let's say it takes me 10 seconds to put in 1 sell order, it will take me about 20 hours to put up my 7,500 OSRS bonds on the GE.

If we are going to make 1.5 bil OSRS gp to buy a tbow in 20 hours, it will be 75 mil gp/hr. I seriously doubt how many of us, even at maxed level can get 75 mil gp/hr.

Besides, I only want to pay to win in OSRS with $60,000. It doesn't mean I pay $60,000 and expect to win instantly. I can wait 20 hours.... Or if I was really desperate I could try to sell my OSRS bonds in bulk in player to player trading like 28 or them at a time for say, 6 mil each, and save myself a few more hours.
