The title suggests that replicas should be added to the store, you dont mention new colors. When it comes to replica party hats, even tho it would be an override, the replicas would make the value of the actual partyhats drop. Since these items can be worn, they act both as a status symbol and as continuously growing in value investment, making it a win-win in flexing and investing. This can be probed by the fact that other rares arent as desirable as the party hats, even tho they might be just as rare and few in game, or even rarer.
They are an iconic, ultimate flex; and should remain that way.

Regarding the adding of new colors-that would still damage the current hats, unless theres quite a difference between the old iconic phats and the solomon ones.

While theres a problem when it comes to trying to get such an item, especially if you are a new player, and combined with the fact that partyhats prices are ever growing, they are too iconic to be ''altered''. In real life there are many objects that are like partyhats in RS. One such thing is the Ferrari 250 GTO- a car that was declared art so that it is protected by copyrights and cant be reproduced. Its a collectible that if it was to be reproduced(even if it said it was a replica) it would still devalue the original.
As I mentioned in my previous post, some things are meant to be exclusive.
