I dunno, I'd call fishing rods in the same category as polearms and whatnot. Or perhaps staves.

Or I'd call a giant vacuum pump in the same category as ranged weapons.

Imo, none of those make sense as one, its not a magic weapon. Two, its not obviously a range weapon. Finally, i dont see it being a polearm as it has no blade.

Yes but at least you can attack with those, dont believe you can attack w/ rod.

Also, i believe flowers are considered a crush weapon hence why maces override them.

So if those are the prerequisites for the fish-o-matic being overridable, then that's what I'm requesting.

Give it zero stats and just class it as a weapon of some description.

And let us not have hideous vacuum pumps ruining our FashionScape. ;.; Yes, I do speak to my mother like that.

Only it's not a matter of either of those things, Draco.

The barb-tailed Harpoon is a fishing tool, and can be overriden as a weapon.

And I _do_ like the function of the Fish-O-Matic, but I do _not* like the combined facts that it A), must be equipped to function, or it is ignored in favour of other methods like barehanded fishing, and B), that it looks a single way, unchanging, and cannot be overriden, despite the latest trends for fashion, choices, and options.

All I'm asking is that options be granted. Yes, I do speak to my mother like that.
