Even though I love anime, I wouldn't want to see these outfits in RS. There's already enough skanky outfits for female characters in the game already. :P

Although, I wouldn't mind seeing outfits inspired by Kirito, Asuna and the others from Sword Art Online in the game, tbh.

Of the anime I have watched, I don't think I have seen a school uniform that I would consider skanky. Asuna's school uniform especially has an air of professionalism.

Perhaps it was a poor choice of words from me, considering I watch my fair share of anime myself. What I probably meant to say is that Japanese school girl uniforms tend to be sometimes considered as "fetish clothing" for lack of a better phrase outside of anime.

People have a fetish for armor too. What is your point? Is it that school uniforms are inappropriate because some people have a fetish for it? The Glad tidings outfit and Servant outfit, or maid outfit, are examples of zettai ryouiki; and the sky has not fallen. What do you think adding a school uniform is going to do?

Actually forgot about the Servant outfit, tbh lol. You know what, I change my opinion on the matter and support the addition of anime school girl outfits, while adding they should add Japanese male school outfits as well.

If I recall correctly, there are schools in RuneScape; and given the setting, a uniform seems appropriate because it is a traditional characteristic; whereas modern schools typically allow students to wear what they want within reason. But I would prefer uniforms with character; like something out of an anime. As a few others have mentioned, think Persona. Asuna's (Sword Art Online) emits a sophisticated aura and is nice too. Ironically, the ones turning this into something of a sexual nature are the same ones complaining about it, whereas supporters of the thread just want nice school uniforms with character. Anyone who legitimately wants this is a creep that shouldn't be on a kids game.

I suppose it is a good thing that this is not a kids game. It is marketed to people ages 13 and older, who are teenagers and adults, not children. Furthermore, those who are 16 and older make up a supermajority of the games' demographic. Also, see this .

But I must ask: Why are school uniforms somehow inappropriate for children? I mean, children are taken to beaches, and women--even girls--wear far less there. The very children you are trying to protect (insert roll-eyes emoji) are the same children who wear swimsuits to the beach. Seems absurd.

Adding this in game will
#1 create perverts
#2 make this game with "feteshish"
#3 jagex will then need to add more quick chat (you can only guess)
#4 there won't be males ingame

And 95% of the people supporting this idea are males and the other 5% are probably also males in girl a character

1. This is the same rationale people use when they say violent video games create violent people or the sexualization of female game characters creates misogynists. It is hogwash.

2. It already contains fetishes. Armor is a fetish for some people, and the Glad Tidings Outfit and Servant Outfit, or maid outfit, are examples of zettai ryouiki. The Servant Outfit is two fetishes in one outfit. Incidentally, not one player has commented on my avatar.

3. ?

4. See 2 and then realize there are still male players in the game.
