Lots of people -- me included -- have been asking for some clarity concerning the loyalty shop bank boosters, which were announced on Aug 28.

If things get reviewed and matters turn out not to be as originally foreshadowed, I'm ok with that. I don't buy into the notion that every announcement constitutes an unbreakable promise. It's normal for plans to change from what gets described from time to time in news releases.
But if there are revisions to what gets described in formal J mod news posts, PLEASE don't bury them in the middle of informal user threads.
If the original news release is no longer accurate, then let people know, as clearly and as prominently as the original misleading news.
That means
(1) Adding a footnote or "strike-out" to the original article so it is no longer misleading
and
(2) Including an updated announcement of the current situation with the same visibility as the earlier incorrect announcement. (i.e., within the first post of another J mod new discussion topic)
