As appreciating as I am for the apology and the outright admittance of the fact that it was indeed YOUR fault this time instead of simply blaming it on the players like you always seem to have a habit for, I nevertheless am extremely irritated and ashamed of this mediocre game performance. If I may give a suggestion, grant players who missed out on the majority of the weekend due to your faulty login servers access to double XP relative to whatever length of time they missed. As a seasoned player, I set aside my weekend for this event, and all I got in return is a backhand from your ****-poor game engine and your massive inability and complete and utter lack of motivation to manage and fix the situation at hand while the need for action was still dire.
Also, where the hell were your botting countermeasures? Bots were EVERYWHERE this weekend, or at least during the short period of time I was able to log in. I have absolutely no trust in your anti-bot capabilities, or so it seems so far, the lack thereof. I frankly don't believe they exist to the extend you describe, because they honestly don't work. This weekend was supposed to be for the legitimate players, not for the countless bots that were doubtless the primary cause for the incredible lag in the first place. You promised, outright PROMISED the removal of said macros. Make good on such claims if you wish to win player's approval, because honestly, the players have been furious at you ever since 2007, and I for one do not suffer disappointment well. Players want to keep the game how it is. I have no doubt that you will steamroller us with the EOC. Be that as it may, listen to the players when we announce our outright hatred of such an unneeded update. Fix the lag, get rid of the annoying login glitch, finally make good on you anti-bot promises, make the game about the PLAYERS and not about your unsatisfiable GREED, and maybe you'll get noticed and respected in the RPG community.

lag was ****, evry world what ever i tried it lagged.
also the loggin in was ****, evry time u got the message my account wasnt logged out.
and when u finaly log in when u go to the citadel u get loged out.......... ****.
i missed a lotte exp just cuz the problem Jagex has with its servers.
what i also dont get is that in the past there where a lotte more ppl playing RS and we didnt have these problems. So what else changed ?
on the positive side i wass happy when i noticed the exp bonus stayed at 2x :D super cool for ppl who have a life and can only play a few hours. Also the fact u can do summoning now :D super.
thanks for evrything u do, i hope next bonus exp weekend is less laggy and ill be verry happy :)

Wow, look at all the hours loged by the bots! AMAZING! When were you going to ban those bots? Oh right, they pay so they "play"... The ONLY problem this weekend was inadequate servers overloaded due to massive botting.
Isn't IVP$scape just a ton of fun?

Dragon bones interred...this is just further proof that you people at Jagex don't know how runescape really is played. Maybe some of us did bury dragon bones but then that's a waste since gilded altar and ectophial gives more exp.
As for the server, we always had server problems so forgive me for having a lack of faith that anything will happen like improving them even if you did announce it. After all, a lot of things were announced too and it's not like you forgot about those things right? Like the bot nuke several months ago and the promised bank booster packs in loyalty shop that would appear "several weeks later". I'm sure you haven't forgotten jagex...

ok first of all..i still got great xp..even tho i did experience a great deal of lag..my screen "blacked out many times im guessin due to extreme lag..i had great difficulty farming..i couldn't click on things correctly and i was running around looking like a weirdo because the lag made me randomly run around..frustrating..also while fishing at monk fish and using the same guy for bank at summoning..the monkfish store guy ..wow i got so frustrated..everytime i tried to bank he talked to me..the screen went up to bank screen.. then got interupted by the guy wanting to talk about the previous quest..sometimes it took me 5 minutes or more to be able to get the bank screen up...but my biggest disappointment was that i had bought dragon bones for prayer xp..i worked very hard previously and got construction up so i could build my guilded altar..then i was so so upset when i realized..i was losing xp from the usual praying xp i should have been getting..i was getting 144 xp..and i was going... dang somethings wrong...i should have been getting like 252 plus bonus xp? idk.. did i miss a note telling us that prayer wasnt included on our altars? if so then i guess im ranting for nothing..i did read the notice about xp weekend but dont remember prayer being mentioned,..anyways...yes i frooze up many times..and game crashed...i did also see many bots this weekend and also...i could have gotten so much more xp if not for the lag and issues..but all in all..i got great xp in spite of it all...would be nice if you did a makeup weekend double xp in the near future..but all in all..i still got alot of xp and levels....i have put my problems i had with the weekend here so you will know what some of the problems we had are...so thanks still for a pretty good amount of xp still
and while i'm here..i do have a rant imma thro in as my double rant weekend ends..lol....i wanna know whatsup with now attempting to make members actually buy"hairstyles" for our charaacters? lame..!

I hope you also realize the massive amount of people logged in was not about people particlarly welcoming/liking the bonus xp - just to take an advantage of it. I hope to never see such events again. Atleast not on a flat rate and no restrictions to certain skills. And I think there should be a bonus xp cap to avoid someone taking a years gaming in one weekend.
