It is quite understandable the lag was there during the bonus xp weekend. Yes the lag made the game less enjoyable, however its a fun experience and plentiful of xp gathered. Take care and good luck. Looking forward to upcoming events.

An apology for servers not being able to handle the number of players? Well, this is about a YEAR LATE. Anyone that has ever tried to log in to a server with at least 1000 players was blocked at least once because "your account has not logged out". No that was NOT just over the weekend.
Does anyone remember the thread in tech support asking for suggestions to reduce traffic to specific worlds? You were also able to post there to get your account forced out of a server.
Has anyone tried to hunt penguins at reset time? There's always a few people making dubstep jokes.
I took a peek through the server list over the weekend and noticed something. It appears as though the game worlds CANNOT HOLD MORE THAN 1350 PLAYERS. It's time you lowered the player limit from 2000 because your servers can not accommodate even half that amount and continue to run smoothly.

HA, even 50% luke knows that this is nothing more than a sad load of lies to try and keep people calm. Since you have not noticed, the lies are just annoying people that can think. People will continue to think of these as 'lies' and 'empty promises' until something is actually done.
P.S. I am disgusted at those who think that just because xp was doubled for a short time, that it's okay not to be annoyed with over a year of sub-par server performance. Serenity Isle, a fun and relaxed clan. click this to see

I have to say, I had a great time for the double/bonus xp weekend as always! And a huge kudos for Jagex for addressing the lag issues. Regardless of what issue comes up, when they address it head on instead of ignore it, I know it boosts the confidence we have in the company.
Though next time, please don't tell us to "sell off our stockpiled bxpw supplies" when you fully intend on having a double xp weekend; I could have easily got 99 summoning, but in lieu of your warning, I used my charms early and now will have to settle for just 96. I'm sure this sounds petty, but still, I know a lot of people who did similar things.
P.S. At least I got to meet some nice German and Portuguese speaking people while playing on foreign worlds to avoid the lag! ­-

Ditto! In one of the live Q and A sessions, the question was asked where the majority of the bots stemmed from. China was number one. America was not listed. Blame America for everything. They are the only ones that come to the rescue of everyone else! Hmmmmm....how does that work? lol

for me he weekend was great i only get we could have 1 more day of double xp i do kind of feel bad the one day my friend decides to play rs it laged for him and he quit at least for that day i hope...then again he hasn't logged on ever since o well yea the weekend was great for me i just hope next time you release the date alot earlier and that the lag/ log in problem is fixed by next time

I had loads of fun. The only problem I had was the lag... It was pretty bad. Every two steps I moved, it made me stop. Also, the logging onto worlds problem was problematic for me too. Thanks anyways Jagex! Hope to see more of these events to come soon!! :)
