About 3/4 of our clan had to avoid our homeworld (w89) just to log on this weekend, while I experienced about 16 hours of inaccessibility personally.
I feel bad for the people who took a day off work to make the most of the weekend, only to find they couldn't log on.
Thanks for the apology, Jagex, but it doesn't really mean much.
Players practically expect this now, and that's not a good thing.
Jagex have also stated there won't be any more bonus XP weekends and that bots will be gone, so promising that the infrastructure will be improved to provide better performance doesn't give me much hope either.
That's my opinion. I'll leave it to other players to state whether they agree or not.

@PvM LMFAO on page 11 - Are you serious? Ignore the people who were unable to log into a game they're paying for? And for entire clans that had to change worlds just to log on?
To you, and anybody else who didn't experience much lag personally, you're not the centre of the universe.
If the situation were reversed, I'm sure you would be upset that you are paying for a service that is not being provided, and that other players are being given an unfair advantage.

@Flip 2 Sm0ke on page 7 - Yes, clearly everybody else in the world needs to use a quality North American connection to reduce the game lag, even though the problem is game-specific and not everybody is from the USA.
Coz that's totally how the Internet works. *SARCASM*

Remember that it is more than just Jagex servers that cause lag - it is also slow internet, your personal graphics settings, and you personal computer.
I suggest you turn off graphics in the game that you don't need, that you buy a better computer and that you get pay for faster internet.
Oh, and sorry you had such a hard time getting on. I had a few times where I had to try 30+ times to log-in, but I didn't miss more than 30 minutes total because of lag or log-in issues and I was happy to get over 6M xp this wkd.
