That's the way I took it. I understand that's not exactly what Moerdred was trying to say- and, I'm not trying to combative, but that's the exact way I took it. That thought process translates to any other situation very easily.
Which, is why I brought up SoF as an analogy. It's very obvious that SoF isn't going anywhere. Jagex has no intention of listening to it's customers. We can't change it, therefore we should just pipe down.

Feedback about any sort of content is perfectly fine and dandy. Feedback about *INVESTOR PARTNERS* is nothing we can do unless you can afford buying out Jagex should the investors wish to sell it. :P
I have to disagree, previously Jagex were in complete control of the game so all decisions were make solely by themselves. If people didn't like the direction of the game they questioned Jagex.
Now it seems another company has a direct influence on the direction of the game. Who are we to question now?

MMG clearly madt the news update yesterday as an attempt to pacify all the negative feedback from players that Jagex knew that they would get from this update.
all i want to say is to jagex: I and manny other players would gladly pay more for membership if it meant the removal of the Sof microtransactions from game. Maby your afraid that if you move P2P to 10$ a monthe, you would lose a lot of players, but honestly, if you would just stop it with all the sof/sollomon updates, perhaps you could come up with enough content to actually make it worth 10$ a month. I do like what your doing with Eoc, but soon or later it wont matter how good of updates you come up with because of the effect RWT will have.
Honestly, im aware that the Sof dosnt affect the economy as bad as gold farmers, but it is simpilly the fact that YOU are now supporting advantages to richer people irl.
I also find it disturbanly halarious how the Sof has now recieved more promotional updates that the Dungeoneering skill.

Here's a change-up Jagex: Legitimate feedback!
Most people don't like SoF because of micro-transactions, which is fine, if the revenue generated by them is put back into the game.
I don't like SoF because the chance of getting experience lamps is extremely high. there's a vid on youtube../watch?v=bWlH21tewU0. LOOK AT THOSE LAMPS! Games are leisure activities that you do when you take some time off and relax, and enjoy yourself. You don't enjoy yourself when you buy a few spins and half-max-out your levels in an hour. Besides, with the money you spend on spins, you can use them to buy lottery tickets in real life, which is more worthwhile than buying spins for virtual rewards, unless you cash in all your prizes and sell them to gold selling websites. I realize that SoF may have originally another way to attract some new members (which is alright, members are, or rather were, the people whose money allowed Jagex to release new content), but it has mutated into a monster. If buyable spins are removed, I guarantee that most players will stop hating on SoF. However, I doubt that's going to happen because the people in charge ( ****** net /guides/10354/jagex_being_controlled_by_a(shift + -)us_company___my_views/) love the money SoF is generating.
On a side note, this thread has revealed a large portion of previously undetected SoF supporters.
Enjoy your spins, and know that lottery tickets would've been a better investment

EDIT:who knew ****** was a censored word?

Look at this thread. Look at the other thread you made. Sure - some people like it and there's nothing wrong with enjoying a certain update, but the amount of people against the whole package of SoF is absolutely staggering.
I can't believe that they can just ignore that many unhappy customers like that. It's like they've completely given up the hope of ever establishing an open, honest rapport with the people that put food on their table.
