So are you saying we're not allowed to mention them? I could make a very valid and non offensive argument as to how jagex is being undermined by them, but would I be banned for the aforementioned?
Also, what would be considered 'offensive', making the connection that maybe recent updates are inadvertently connected to 'them'?

Okay, thanks for the response. It's reassuring to know that we're not allowed to talk about the company which must not be named. After all, what does Jagex and another company that must not be named - a company who makes decision that directly impact the customers game and playing experience - have to do with anything?

Yup, but one exclusively gained from cheating.
Since that disqualifies them in my eyes, just as any other RWTer and botter, I get into the real top 100 players list so much faster. :-)
My gain, though, is that I get to feel morally superior to the Jagex sellouts. And can poke fun at them from the moral high ground.
And that's really priceless. :-)

Not to derail into a big business discussion but the investors /run/ the company, therefore giving feedback on why you hate the investors is useless as you can't actually change that. That's just how the world works. They own the company.
It's not something MMG can come in and say 'Okay, you're fired', but rather that the board (which would include MMG as the ceo) report to the investors.
Discussing them here serves no purpose for anyone and does not tackle the root of the problem. More so, discussions that are offensive will just be removed. Regardless who it's for.
