not looking forward to this... runescape used to be a good game, jagex are trying to hard to change things that shouldnt be messed with..
just a example..
-added over powered weapons that hit 75% of your hp.
-Keep adding safety features that remove the risk that this game had..
-Prayer is now slow draining removing the real need to watch pray as you used to..
the idea used to be about smiting your targets for top loot.. now its just pk that rune set..
-Massively stuffed the Game item design, eg barrows items all look a tad to alike..
-Graves, in some ways it is good but in the end the idea of the game is kinda not to die.. it removes any problems one would obtain when dying..

InB4newbies. Before you open your mouth you don't have a clue about the 2006 generation on RS, I personally liked the risk that this game had as well as the slight skill required to kill another player since you didn't need to rely on a weapon that specs huge or hits big normally, whip dds days where were the game was at its best when playing needed some luck and more timing where players didn't tab over 50k that is now long gone.


To sum it up, i believe this update is just going to try make runescape a WoW wannabee and ruin the way runescape should be.

In my opinion you are haters as far as I prosume, i dont care what else you say, I can clearly see you hate the fact that jagex tries to make RS a better game than before. As far as I love to say this - If haters hate the current game or at least dont like a bit of it, why still playing or posting comments? You're hoping for someone to understand your pain and return it to normal? If you guys loved RS before with its fail graphics and..lol timing hits? It's all just click with your mouse ..I'm sure there are more people that want ol' Runescape back. And I'm also sure that there are far more people that love RS as it is now. If you like fail graphics,sound,music,gameplay,etc, go play ol'classic games such as Doom 2 or Duke Nukem, and have fun with the graphics! If you havent noticed EVERY game has an update and RS is one of them, you just have to face the facts. A game is meant to be played and have fun, if you're not having fun and just complain - just click "x" on your top right corner of the screen and go play another game.

You guys will never understand..

When will you guys get it? THEY ARE NOT COPYING WoW! ALMOST EVERY MMO HAS THIS. WoW and Runescape are totally different. Same thing happened to Terraria and Minecraft. PEOPLE THOUGHT TERRARIA WAS A MINECRAFT RIP OFF. Which is wrong. Terraria and Minecraft both have BIG differences. Minecraft is towards more of a building game, Terraria is more or a slaughter-house game. No game is the same. WoW was not the first to come up with the skill system. Every game comes from a certain genre. Let's take a fighting game for instance. Oh no, there's another fighting game, IT'S A COPY OMG! No. It comes from the fighting genre, and they have their differences.
The runescape now requires no skill. You just click and you automatically fight. Either you have better skills than them, or you get lucky. This update will make combat more exciting and less boring. Mage is wickedly over powered with Ice Barrage in PvP. If you don't like runescape, leave. This update is awesome.

I am simply loving these video Behind the Scenes. You really get to have a better understanding of Runescape's future content. Keep it up!
