I personally expect the difference to be not positive at first, but the pro's will win over the con's in the long term.

God Wars Dungeon, black demons, what appears to be Chaos Tunnels all looking amazing! Less messy interfaces sounds good to me, but I want to see it in-game. Fish Flingers badly needs an update, glad to hear it's getting one!

Okay here is my opinion. If I was to describe it with one word then that would be 'Awesome!'. But that would not be much of a discussion although I've looking forward to this a long time.
Varrock looks awesome and I'm glad those strange dogs are gone. William Shake-N-Spear was pretty funny. Also I'm looking forward to the Crypt Fest, I hope that it will be more challeging than ever!
The combat rework is the main thing I'm looking forward to though. As Mod Rathe is saying, the tools has developed so I hope the new combat rework will increase the game atmosphere. What will we be capable of doing on the beta? Is it only to show us the new combat rework or what is more to see?
As mentioned this is very exciting to all players, to new players and to veterans as me. I can't wait. :)

i can honestly with 100% certainty that i will enjoy this combat update immensely.
ive been around for a very long time, since the very early days of runescape and i can honestly say that i have loved the way this game has evolved, although there are a few things i think we could have done without, they are just small potatoes when compared to the overwhelming amount of amazing content that has come to the lands of runescape over the years.
so i say good job jagex and i hope to be one of the first to experience the new combat beta, it would mean a lot for me because i could continue to be an active member of the community by giving my criticisms in the hopes that you will take them to heart and help improve upon your game
