All I need say is this: spend more time on getting rid of the botting issue, the happier the player base will become. A happier player base will result in further purchase of your membership programs. However, continue on the path you are on now, and the company hasn't much of a future. The lack of content updates is appalling (you haven't even mentioned the Eastern lands yet, for how many years?), the lack of player satisfaction is appalling, and overall the game has become a wreck.
First of all, those "cosmetic" items you're selling should be implemented as an automatic graphical update, not something you need to buy into. Set in stone. Furthermore, xp lamps and the option to buy squeal of fortune spins should be removed. Replace them with the pendants; you have to earn your xp then. It will also get rid of some of the stigma with the squeal of fortune. Again, a happier player base increases your long term profits.
Now that I've stated this, I'd like to have a little rant session.
My satisfaction when playing this game has thinned to the point of nothing when playing this game. PKing is dreadful, gambling is aggravating, prices are absurd, questing has become boring, socializing with the player base has become rendered to an almost hush-hush tone and PVM only yields value to those who meet the prerequisites already. I find myself only interested in making money, and I'm sure other players have that mindset as well. Once upon a time, I was content on having 1m. Now, after years of fluctuating between 10-140m, I am still not content with what I have. In 2k05 I would've been ecstatic to have a single million. This should say something. The quality of your game has dwindled, and I blame both JaGeX and IVP.
