I think everyone here is being severely biased. I believe this is a time to be happy. Sure, you're able to buy bank space through buying runecoins, but did anyone even bother to read the rest of the post...? We are ALSO able to gain bank space by purchasing it through loyalty points. Sure you can view loyalty points as a way to manipulate people into becoming (and maintaining) a member, but wouldn't most of you buy it month after month regardless? I think it's a great endeavor for them to AT LEAST put in another option for bank space. Sure it will only be a liable option for a few weeks, but it's better than nothing. Would you be happier if it was only obtainable by spending money on runecoins? We all need to sit back and think for a minute. Hopefully this is a step in diminishing the need to constantly have to purchase every luxury that is released. Also, stop trying to kill the messenger. If you really don't like Jagex, then stop playing. I'm sure most of you have performed a lot of shameful acts on RuneScape. Basically, sure, being able to buy the luxuries is lame... but at least they're making it so you don't have to now (hopefully).

For myself I do not need more bank space. Ive have gone panic a few times after misplacing my cash-stack in my bank. So now I watch my max amount of bank space and when im within 20 spaces I PURGE my bank hard ... and regain nearly 1 mil each time, whilst making others deliriously happy with my free assorted bits at the same time.. joy is in the giving you know.
Of course I keep my collection of knives and tinderboxes... I will keep those until they become antique, or maxed amount.
I feel it was a wise idea to add the bank spaces to Solomons store and to the loyalty shop at the same time.
Good for the F2p who if they don`t want to commitment of a membership, can still buy for themselves, the specific thing in this case bank space.--- dont go crazy with this though. I dont feel like bank space is an ingame advantage to members but it might be a bit of an advantage for f2p.
And I add a question- can you both buy the extra bank space from solomon and the bank sapce from the loyalty shop? if for example you were obsessive compulsive and tried to have one of each of all items made of .... say wood for example.... not speaking of myself ... you know just ... hypothetically.

Why so concerned with making bookoo bucks? I feel like a parent torn into pieces watching my child fall into a hole they can't get up from, and me as the player can't help. I've watched you grow for years now and their's rarely any fun anymore, It's like you don't really care about us. You say that we'll never be able to buy RSGP, and you also said the wildy wouldn't be making a grand return. Runescapes been falling apart for a while now, when all of your loyalists are gone, who's gonna help you pick up the pieces?

I'm glad we have the option to get more bank space, if I had more money I'd buy some right now. Its a one time purchase that lasts forever and also works on F2P, so even f2p is included, which is nice. Its nice we will also have the option to use Loyalty points. Thank you Jagex for this update. Bank space is advantage, it's why members have more space. They pay so they get more advantage.
It's also advantageous for storing all the advantage giving weapons and armour that will be released after EoC launches.
Those silly +2 rings were just to see if people objected, the really good stuff will come with the combat system that is item dependent.
It's to Jagex's advantage to sell stuff that gives Squealers an advantage, and storage space for Squeal stuff is so very handy.
The only good thing is that if Jagex is thinking properly it won't charge too many loyalty points for bank space. If they do it will be spiting themselves.
Those that have crowded banks are collectors, collectors with full banks stop collecting, and collectors are most likely to be eventually lured into SoF's clutches.

Try working on ways to make skilling profitable, a NPC buyer base for increased prices, and some 90s level combat gear that has power limitations against weaker enemies. One reason that I enjoy the corporeal Beast is because the Zamorakian Spear is not the most powerful weapon, but one of the only ones you are actually able to effectivly use against it.
THAT is when you will be the train, running over WoW and FB.
