That is a really interesting point. I just want to clarify some things that might be useful here.
SoF and MTX updates have given us the ability to invest heavily in our content team updates. I do understand that recently some people feel there has been less updates and more promotional ones. I get that. But please do not for a second think that the content updates are not going to benefit. The content specific team (the team that deal with quests and Al kharid updates etc) has grown massively (I want to say doubled but I am not 100% sure and they aren't all here to go count heads).
The developers working on content are not the same people working on SoF and MTX. SoF and MTX *DO NOT* effect the content release schedule and instead is a benefit to it.
I know you don't get to see some of the future updates but there is a lot of stuff in the pipeline which will get people really excited but I have to be bold and say that SoF and MTX allows us to do that. These types of updates are ones that I know the community will love.
I do also get that people think that there are a lot of promotional newsposts, that is true and the feedback has been heard. However, remember that promotions etc do need to be ... promoted? Ultimately these additions are there for people if they want to participate.
On the content side all I can say is there are some really exciting projects in the works and I am sure you will all get more information on these soon.
Finally though, as I have said a few times on this thread. Remember this isn't really a promotional thread rather than keeping people who are a member informed of their free st00f.
