I was more talking about the summer party, which is already 3rd down on the newslist. i hate having to close down pop-ups every time i log in because you roll out constant new promotions all the time.

Perhaps if you dedicated every promotion or news relating to Squeal of Fortune and Solomon's general store to a different site.
It feels like we're being bombarded with advertisements every time we go to the RuneScape homepage and instead of finding a topic of interest such as Evolution of Combat, new quests, game updates, etc. we find someone with an ice cream cone on his head with a peculiar smile :3
TL;DR - We're starting to get tired of seeing so many gimmicky advertisements and "reminders"

I have also unlocked tropical bracelets, so there are 6 pieces in total?
And if I activate them, my tropical feet vanish.

The bracelets aren't working for me. Feet are fine, and other account worked fine.
Hopefully a fix is in the works for invisible feet and hands.
Jagex, when you hype stuff too much people quickly get around to eye rolling.
Overhyping is the escalation tactic of marketing, trust me, plenty of players know all about that, I think a place where people can find a reprieve from that is a good place.
You know, a place to escape from worldly mundanities. Like a good book or an online game.

Didn't the promotion already say they were all included for free for members? I would have to check back to be 100% but I am sure they did. *Heads off to check newspost*
As for the other points about lots of Newpsosts around promotions. I do understand your points here.
The promotions will still continue but hopefully there is enough other things that get you excited. For example the behind the scenes video showing the update and rework of Al Kharid which was a massive undertaking. (If you haven't seen it go check it out).
I guess what I am saying is I understand that the promotions aren't for everyone. But this specific newspost is to make sure people who are eligible know about their free item.
Everyone loves a free item.
