For all the complaining I'm assuming Jagex is still getting a lot of good results out of these things. If they were to tell us the total number of spins there have been on the sof to date it would likely - no, most definitely - be a huge number. These constant updates indicate that the wheel and the store have been very successful. So why should these be dropped from the game?
*Disclaimer: I don't support most of the sof. If I play it's for the cosmetic stuff. I would like the discard option returned please. Also, all those glowing eyes are starting to freak me out O_o

BXP weekend was used by almost everyone in the game, yet that was removed.
Effigy's where used by the majority of players yet they were nerfed.
If you release content that is the fastest way to gain gp/exp in the whole of runescape, it is going to be used. It doesn't make it right and it certainly doesn't make it right that other good xp ways are nerfed in favour of faster xp that can be bought.

You know, I undersand that you have different teams working on different aspects of runescape for updating.
What I don't understand is why you have one working on Yelps and Solomon. =\
Seriously, I'd rather see them working on EOC than this....junk.

Items exclusively available on the Squeal of Fail, that are the best item of their kind. Icecream hat does the work of a water tiara stuffed with water runes, but not only does it cost no runes, it also stores food.
Better than anything existing in the game. Only available by spins. Only guaranteed way to get it is to buy a stupidly large number of spins.
I guess the next top level items after Nex/Chaotics will only be available for real world cash too right?
