As a hip young kid who lives life on the go, I for one am glad that Jagex has turned away from "gameplay" based content. I mean, really, who the heck has time to actually PLAY this game in this day and age? It's much more fun to simply buy stuff from an real-cash store in game, then let it fester as I live my on the go life. Games are a way to show off how much spare cash I have and are in no way meant to be played.
Actually playing games was so 2006 and I'm glad jagex has seen the light and stopped making playable game content. What a bore.

Really Jagex? I've recently stopped playing your game because of this, though I keep an RSS feed of recent updates. Unfortunately, this rubbish is all I ever see on there. Thanks to this Venture-morons inspired store, you've ruined what was once a spectacle among mmo players.

I personally have no problems with this, I mean, people don't HAVE to buy stuff from the store, it's entirely optional I don't see why there is all the hate :| .
But I like the new animations and stuff, too bad i bought the pactbreaker longsword with my free rc :(

90% of the RS community are enjoying the Sgs and SoF.
