For the players who are whinning, about jagex assuming that every player has a Facebook account, first off if you dont then make one, if you don't have then i guess you dont qualify to enter. after all this all about free advertisement! One like for a chance to win LTM is well worth the 5 secs of your time... and another great thing more advertisements more "player controlled players"

Don't trust this.
1) Giving out personal information on Facebook is bad. It is shocking what Facebook CAN do with any personal information that you post on ANY Facebook page WITHOUT your consent. Posting personal information on any Facebook page makes it no longer personal information.
2) Jagex has (twice that I know of) deceived it's community with the offer of free membership & then reneged on the offer. (Skill Workshops and the Purple Phat duping bug)
Caveat emptor.

Postanou,
You never have to post any personal information about yourself on Facebook. I never have :) When you "Like" a page you never are allowing your personal information to be transferred to a third party, this is only when you "join" a game. When a Facebook app needs your personal information it always asks permission.
You are misinforming players and you are not doing yourself any favours by posting this.

@ Ticketty Boo
I am not misinforming people. Any information you put on any Facebook page, whether it be on your own Facebook page, or another, becomes property of Facebook. This extends to anything uploaded (photos, drawings, comments, etc) and what pages you 'like' or 'dislike'. Even anything deleted/removed is not fully gone. I refuse to have anything to do with Facebook. I suggest you do some research of your own about the T&C's and legal rights & powers that Facebook have. I certainly did, at length, for law.
Also, I never said personal information is transferred to a third party either.
