Another unwanted social media tie-in.
No. Just no.
If I want to do business with a company, I will do business directly with them. If I want to communicate or interact with them, I expect to do so directly through their phone lines, their email addresses, their web pages; not a third party, and certainly not Facebook.
I don't have an account at Facebook, and I refuse to open one. Their treatment of their users' privacy is poor, their tendency to make changes to people's settings without asking them first is annoying, their security is questionable, and their ethics are best summed up by reading some of Zuckerberg's early statements about what he thought of people who gave him their personal information (it's not pretty.)
Asking me to use Facebook reduces my desire to continue doing business with you.
