Best of luck everyone :) . It certainly will be a lovely opportunity for one fortunate individual who enters, so whoever that is, I hope they are deserving!
Out of curiosity, will any of the more old means of awarding lifetime membership surface again? As in, creative competitions, the big ticket, and so on? I understand the big ticket was certainly something larger than lifetime membership, but personally, I think those sort of contests in general promote greater community interests than these sort that just nudge players to a certain social platform.
Of course, the greatest rewards of contests pertaining to art, community-involvement, and so on, is the process of making what you are entering or doing what you normally do to have fun!
Just your friendly neighborhood team player.

So all I have to do is "like" the page, correct? I go to the link and click "like" at the top then the button changes to "Enter Here" and everytime I click it, it shows nothing else, so just wondering.

"I'll buy a bunch of Rune Coins if I win" You mean you'll use your parents' credit card to buy the last few skanky outfits? You're practically guaranteed to win! ................
Good luck to all of you sheep, rushing to grab your free lottery ticket. Unknowingly advertising for Jagex, crossing your teenage fingers.
Not worth the embarrassment and I won't support Jagex in any other way than the initial monthly fee, because they've proven they don't deserve it.
Tryharder.

I love how any negative comments on Facebook are removed, but the ones advertising a DDOS programme and selling accounts have been up for weeks:

"Hey guys! Releasing my Private DDoS tool for RS - Released to me by <User Snipped> from HaxUnit! There are no .exe files within this, only a Java Application that is to be run before login to the RuneScape client! - <Address Snipped>"
"im trying to sell my account for 60 bucks on paypal add me on facebook an i will give information. but yea im selling an account man i can sell it to you its good it has 3 99's and d claws. i just dont play ever anymore man and i need dope money."

Nice to see you've found your Facebook market, Jagex.

Strangely enough it asks for you to accept linking your FaceBook account to this giveaway with I go to facebook/runescape and click "lifetime membership" at the top bar.
It then asks our RSN and our email. Wasn't there an age old saying by Mod Andrew that constantly repeated in the footer of RuneScape 1 back in 2003 that read "Only enter your details at RuneScape.***"? I realize a ton of rules were altered lately, including making it legal to name URLs on the forum and game, allowing the sale of RSGP through spins, and charging bots for unbans through Banned Account Reinstatement. But when was security changed where we now trust emails claiming to be by Jagex and now giving out our account security info through facebook?
My how the times have changed from back in MY day.
