I've thought more about this and have a great idea.
No point swimming against the tide so why not go with it!
Players don't like bots
Players are nervous about Jagex letting us choose to buy in game money with our real cash in case it 'spoils' the game
The reality is that we have ots and jagex work to suppress them as best as they can and also that there are websites where you can buy rs 'gp'. I dont use these stes but obviously some folk do or they wouldnt exist.
Why not address these directly :
Why not introduce a place in the banks where we can, if we want, use our real life credit cards to buy in game gp - even with a nice one-click option so we dont have to log out.
If it has to be rs coins then at least let us buy some hi power weapons and armour with rs cash.
This way there'll be no need for sites that sell rs gold as rs will be letting us by it directly from them and so there won't be bots as there'll be no need for them.. we can buy stuff we want.
I really think this will work.
Please could a jmod or a normal mod start a proper discussion thread on this .. I really think it would address a lot of people's worries and complaints

I really like the convert straight to coins option now, especially as i often have a full bank and when i log in not near a bank but win an item that can't fit in my bank it was so annoying as i wanted to see what I will win with my second spin!
However, now with the Squeel of Fortune, new players can find it extremely easy to start their account, so possibly have an unfair advantage over others who started before the SoF, and possibly lose the early fun of finding yourself in the game because in one or two days they get, for example 40k or so from a rune item, which is an easy start for a level 3 with no skills yet.
Therefore I think if there was a total time played or skill total level thing where if for example your total level was below 500 then items that are in the 'uncommon' slot for someone with 1500 total will be in the 'rare' slot for the person with the 500 total.
Just changing the rarity of the item would be better than eliminating it from all of those peoples' SoF because then they cannot complain that they will never get those items, well that they have a chance at that point, but to achieve a higher reward they have to improve their skills, this would also encourage skill improvement, and all round better players :) Thanks for reading

Mod Timo, it does not matter how much you sugar coat it, sof is N O T wanted.
You know full well (as you use the forums a lot in particular) sof is hated by 80%+ of the community and players

Also Solomons is just as bad, I don't care if makes the colour of the log in page differently, any way jagex introduce options to pay money for benifits/content is completely unacceptable, you only have to look at your actual legit players "currently online" to see where you guys are taking the direction of this game, take away the bots what do you have? 30k people monday morning, 80k people monday night?
