I am personally not against Solomon General Store as long as the items that this ugly genie sells remain cosmetics. I consider it RWT but at least we cannot buy our way in to the game with cosmetics.
However, concerning the SoF, the matter is completely different. At first, when we had only 2 spins per day, I found the update really interesting. It added a new twist because we could win items and lamps. And I had found that it was intelligent to make the items untradeable.
But when Jagex implemented buyable spins, the matter changed completely. Players could then buy their way in the game. I find it unacceptable. In my humble opinion, I think SoF was a great update with 2 spins a day but Jagex(or IVP) ruined it by introducing buyable spins.
Furthermore, I noticed a lack of response from Jmods when players complain about SoF or SGS. However, whenever a random compliment of the update appears in this sea of complains, Jmods jump on that and use it as a kind of *proof* that players appreciate the update.
On a last note, I want to ask Jagex why do they create such fantastic armours and weapons only to be buyable with real-life money? Why can't actual weapons obtained as drops from monsters benefit from such amazing graphics?
