Bug Abusers Banned

To everyone ranting about not banning bots:
You should read the news more often. At the time being, Jagex is working on some new bot detection mechanism ("Optimus"
. It takes time to do it right, they want to make shure that it is failproof and only detects real botters. If they'd rush it, maybe it would detect innocent ppl or so, and they'd be filling the forum with even more whiney ranting.
To those ranting about "Jagex influencing the market":
I hope its true that they're feeding in rare items they found on the banned accounts, else the total numbers would decrease, increasing the price. And it makes sense to remove all that gold gained trough the exploit, else it would increase inflation. The exploit happened in a small time frame and removing the "unnatural" gold is the only logic measure.
This keeps the market as it was before the incident, everything ELSE would "influence" it.
And listing the banned accounts names was the right thing to do. Just telling that they removed "some cheaters" has a somewhat less "discouraging" effect on would-be cheaters than bringing up real palpable Players that where banned for abuse.
Personally I wonder why Jagex doesn't consider just bringing back the good ole captcha sleeping bags ^^ I don't know why they where removed in the first place, most probably because honest players found them annoying...
Maybe they could do a poll, like they did with the wilderness, and make the community decide if they want to accept a slight nuisance in exchange for the bots facing a real hindrance?

PS: And never install any ****** "cheat" program, or give your ******** to a "friend" or log into anything but runescape.***. Because "account hacking" is a myth, everyone who claims it either gave away his login info, or installed some ******** sniffer by his own fault, or logged into some fake site or even private server, stupidly using the same login info.
