lol @ ppl saying they made tons of irl cash from the bug. Wheres the facts you get this info from rumors...those are not facts... even if they did make money off the bug it wasn't bank, like 1k for example and that even a stretch, irl bucks is bank? lool Only for kids but with adults it doesn't go far with bills but then again when your 13yo, 20 bucks can seem like bank :P lol If there is any truth to the rumors which I doubt there is jagex would press charges, they have done it with bots in the past possibly current as well. Those bug abusers selling gold wouldn't make them much different if they were. Meaning they broke those same irl laws then they would lose that bank to lawsuits, basically cheaters never prosper lol

You do realise 1 Billion Gp is worth like ******* *1000, They could easily of made $10000, i bet they dont give **** about being banned cause they can just buy another maxed account for $500.

Lol true dat......I know if i made all that money I wouldn't give 2 rat ***** about this game because I know some of them made enough money irl to pay for a 4 year college degree at a state university l0l. But what else is new.....This happens because jagex brought free trade back lmfao (rwt portion)

@TwoPacs Apparently I don't realize cuz I don't cheat. But it would be pretty hard to want to play again when you are in court from a few suitslol ;) You cant make figures off the top of your head either....Unless your admitting something to us O_o
@Kurama where do you get your facts lol you got me thinking with those funny facts you too could pay for a 4 year college if you start charging for the comedy :P lol

If they were smart, they would have sold it for irl cash, simple. And talking about the college thing? I already know more than 5 individuals who have paid for college or bought a new car because of this game and have since quit to live a nice life

@Kurama flame you? I would never! But as for looking silly your doing a fine job of that all by yourself. Wow you are good I can't stop laughing why do you do this to me! :P So let me get this right did those 5 individuals have a good life with the paid for college or was it just because of the car? Cuz the car seemed very important in that sentence to obviously be mentioned. And are those 5 individuals the same person that you multiplied by 5? Seems strange they all had the same ambition to make their lives better with cars oh and college can't forget that... :P

I'm starting to be a bit more sceptical about the implementations of these bugs. I mean, if you look at haxunit's new video you'd know that there was a duel arena bug which operated on the same fundamentals, yet this one deferred slightly as you could gain over 100 billion an hour. Those people are crashing the economy and even if Jagex banned the account, someone with enough logic would do it with another account that isn't affiliated with their main, then it just makes distributing the cash a lot more facile. Runescape has become more and more disconcerting as of late and it due to those who perceive the game as a lucrative business, rather than a game to be enjoyed. Perhaps, if you'd taken a moment to deliberate and construct a firm system to evade any use of abuse, for example a lot of people have mentioned the regards to a quest point system so that players wouldn't be able to be endowed with a large sum of cash with ease. If they made the cash apt towards the number of quest points or even another system, just something to help evade plunging the economy into the abyss, then once again I'd be able herald Jagex (this is coming from an honorary member of RS, since 06). Just hope that you can rectify this issue.
