Glad to see this end is under control. If I understand correctly you can detect botters too. The leader boards of high scores deserve a little integrity also. I am a miner so I see those in mining (about 30 of them now) the new bots that came after the last bot nuke are passing about 125m exp now. I hear my friends squeal, I warned them they were coming. Apparently hunt bots, specifically red chin bots hold about 10 pages of high scores.
Integrity and fair play are their own rewards, as an individual we know if we have ever cheated (and sadly the cheaters probably don't care or don't understand personal achievement). I feel bad when I see another player's achievements and wonder if they botted or played as a team or bought gp or any other of the cheating offenses, rule breakers steal from the game.

And im not gonna be a liar here, i tried it once noing happened so i continued to slay... I got named as a persn who abused it and got banned. How unfair is that i didnt abuse it, i tried it and it didnt even work, so how can i possibly abuse a so called glitch thats fixed?.?.?.

Naming and shaming is legit, as Jagex have investigated and proved, that these accounts abused the bug to the max. They are guilty. To the people saying that they shouldn't be banned for "one abuse". This one abuse has had them basically farm gold, and sell it for in real life money, which is clearly against the rules. They appear to be no better than the many gold farmers in RuneScape, which we would all like to see removed from the game.
With them being a maxed or high level player, I would think they would be in the group of more upstanding members of the community, alas this has been proven wrong. To break the rules, for whatever reason deserves to be actioned on, regardless of how "loyal" someone has been over the years. Hopefully this will be a learning curve for those involved, and those that continue to think it's okay to abuse bugs.
To all the rest of the RuneScape high level community, well done for having morals.
This is a step in the right direction.

Iv never broke a rule before and wasnt planning on it. Been a loyal runescape member for over 5 years, thanx for banning me even tho i technicialy did nothing wrong

I wanna know this i've never found a bug in runescape in the years i've played which is 10 years next year on this account & had another name before hand.
But if i was to ever scale up on a bug with out knowing so as i'm not a very intelligent individual this would mean i'd be banned?
Thats a big concern to me.
I think its great that you have caught these people. and no doubt they knew what they was doing & taking advantage but what if you wasn't?.
And why you are banning how about these botters the ones that hang out at the caves near the hill giants to get the limpwurt roots, ones at draynor village trees, ones at fally mining place. to say the least? they ruin the game not people who collect rares from a bug that was Jagex's Fault?.

They banned me for trying to do it after it was fixed, and i tried it once... Even with their words they said rollbacks for people who didnt abuse it, i tried it once after it was FIXED. And im being as honest as can be here. They even named my main Wastedmonkey as one of the abuserss!,!
