Runescape has been going down hill for a long long time. SOF and SGS have proven to be the latest installment of "let's drive this game into the ground." I remember when this game was actually FUN, when Jmods actually listened to player FEEDBACK. These two words are quickly fading from the game. R.I.P runescape. All us players will remember you when you actually posted good game content and listened to us instead of milking money out of your already dwindling player base :( (((( and yes this all started when VIP called the shots

Let me just take a moment to thank everyone on the thread that actually posted feedback, not hate. Thank you.
But my comment is not the case, I have different feedback.

I like this update alot, I really wish that you might have given f2p the candy floss as well, but either way it's fine. F2p seems to get skipped out of alot of things lately, primarily for your business concerns. I do like the new updates, but I do not enjoy the fact they are on the Squeal of Fortune. This puts me at an awkward state, because they will only be available this summer, for a limited time. If I do not win all the items, I will be exponentially disappointed if the time runs out, because I am not buying spins. I have gotten Shark Fists(Only 4, none of the others), as well as pretty much useless food that I feel like if I eat, I won't be able to get back. No water balloons, no candyfloss, no beach ball or sunbathe emote...(I really wanted this!) As well I heard on the forum homepage today is the last day to get any of these with an increased chance... Well... GF, I liked the update but unfortunately i'm not lucky enough to win all of this unless I were to buy spins, which I am not. Thank you for your concern Jagex with making a good updates. I support them but find myself being disappointed in my luck to say the least. This is the opinion of a 9 year RS vet.

I find this absolutely unacceptable and wrong, please stop updating SOF/SGS. It's bad enough already just being there in the game. We want more GOOD content, PLEASE. We need REAL updates, and a bot nuke, not this.

I have loved this update.
What fun, throwing water balloons, watching people kick a ball around and sunbathe! Hats off to the team responsible!
This Rav3nLunatic is having the best time with it all! Can't wait for the next 99 party in our clan to take some of these things along.

I'm deeply disappointed in you Jagex. You're supposed to care about the game and the people who play the game but you cram these unwanted updates down our throats without stopping to listen to what the community has to say. This game is every bit as much ours as it is yours so I suggest you wise up and listen to the community for a change. I've been playing Runescape (not just on this account) for 8 years and I would really like to see some awesome updates that improve the game and make the game more fun. If things keep continuing this way in the future you just might lose my membership as well as thousands of others.

Just throwing this heart-felt bit out there:
RS, I really like you. Jagex, I want to thank you for making RS. But honestly, it's not the same as it used to be. It's not the game it was five years ago..and that can be a good thing, but after having recently come back from a break of a year or so..I see it hasnt been good. RS is taking a u-turn and going backwards and no one's pulling the emergency break. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the SoF free money and xp, but the game would rather love skill updates and other in-game updates. Not SoF, not SGS, and no more money related things. The only place money should come into play is the membership. and It should start and end there. Forget loyalty points I want normal old RS back.
