I've been playing this game on and off for 7 years. I am really disappointed in the way things have been going. What does squeal of fortune have to do with the in-game-play? It's an obviously transparent way to juice the players for more money. Ridiculous.
And it's friday july 27th and I dont see any skill pendant in the squeal of fortune slots. I'm all for a double xp weekend, or maybe earning a double xp item through a random event, but being able to purchase xp is absolutely ridiculous.
@ Comboing - Awe, your so cute!! Sorry, but I am already taken, please stop stalking me.
SAY NO TO UNFAIR GAME PLAY! SAY NO TO BUYABLE ADVANTAGES!

@ Annie Re
No real reply? Well, it was expected anyway. You mind boggle me, you are going against your own opinion, even though my opinion is the same as yours.
Strange one you are.
BYE!
EDIT: Stop replying to me then. Simples.
Whatever floats your goat ^

I agree with those talking about the unfair advantage this gives for people with money to burn. I do think it will inspire some people to steal from their parents. I do agree it is irresponsible of Jagex, but it comes as no surprise from a conscienceless corporation. Being able to buy an unfair advantage is not new, though, just new to Jagex. There have always been bots and gold farmers. That is an unfair advantage for those with money to burn. One can likely go to any high school and find someone selling GP for $50.00 per mil or whatever the rate is. One can buy top of the line armour online for cash. The corporation of Jagex is just jumping on the bandwagon. All the whining in the world won't change that. We as players can live with it or quit.
I come on here to watch people nag about how much they hate updates.
just quit the game already, im tired of buying popcorn and watching you kids argue. LOL
According to my world time buddy, its now Saturday in the UK (way into Saturday in Australia), I still can't see these pendants.
I have to agree, too much free xp is happening.
When the Gielinor games came out and I did head to head and was rewarded with 10k+ agility xp, I was like seriously?!
I'm very much so over the games already, but doing it because the xp is just too good to pass up for how much time you actually spend to get it.
