Pendants of skill where you work to get the bonus xp are better than lamps where you get the xp without doing anything. Pendants are actually incentives to play the game.
I like the idea of replacing all the lamps from spins with pendants. (Other lamps, like the ones you get from quests, are just fine. You've already done something to get those.)

Oh great... just another way of Jagex trying to steal away more money from all their loyal player. Hey Jagex, how about you listen to gosh damn players and get rid of the crap? Honestly, i could care less about all the updates you have anymore because i will be quitting your stupid game as soon as the evolution of combat is here, much like the other 90% of your players will because you don't listen to what your players want anymore. your clueless Jagex, and i hope your company shuts down due to your mess ups.... :)

I have a question as to the amount of time we have to use the xp items before they will be removed at any state of use, or if they will continue to be included on the Squeal of Fortune for a lengthy amount of time, as regular items in the game.

I just found out (by experience so not confirmed) u can only get one of each pendant per skill(normal and prized ofc, so two tbh).
Thought i was gona get super extra exps :(
