I really don't think they care too much about stopping bots. Maybe they're trying to figure out some way to just ban or deter all the bots that are members, that way they've already gotten some money from them.

it's just sad to see this direction jagex is taking :/ bots are paying them off and they are just really showing that they care more about money then this game... the only good update i have seen recently was update to dung (shared keys) and runespan... i am just really disappointed and frustrated with how they are handling this game i really enjoy playing and don't want to see run into the ground for just a few more dollars...

Start updating the game. There are no good updates nowadays, Quests came out every month or every two months, now it's good if we get two in a year. seriously. And the last carnillean one was good graphically but it was very boring to play through. What about finally making a new quest for the elven lands and opening the city of Prifddinas or something instead of these solomon's general stores and sof things :X

I feel sorry for you the J Mods who are against micro transactions, being forced into these money grabbing updates every single week.
The only way the game is going to survive is with good consistent updates, not this bull crap
Edit: If you take a look at the slideshow on the homepage 3 of the 5 slides are moneygrabbing scams, lol...
