YOU are not thinking about several things:
-Other people
-The company themselves
-The past
OTHER PEOPLE: This update will dramatically affect the economy, prices will go either higher or lower if updates like this continue. So stop being idiots and think about the bigger picture, who gives a **** if you get free xp, free items... Which is more important, a working game, or a disfunctional pile of tripe which hands out the best weapons for free... Soon there will be nothing left to play. Forget it being NICE, forget it being COOL, it is terrible for the game. Therefore anyone who sides with Jagex on this is just part of the problem, the game is dying and this is what happens, they will take all the money they can from you.
THE COMPANY: Why, why do you think they are suddenly introducing real world trading, changing their rules about it? They want your money, you are nothing to them and they couldn't give less of a damn... Has anyone else noticed the updates are now getting more and more member based??? That's were the money is, use your brains! They don't care about you, they care about your money, don't congratulate them on taking your money, it's moronic.
THE PAST: In the past, if this happened 90% of the community would go, easily. They are destroying this community, what it used to stand for is long since gone. And anyone who disagrees with me here is either kidding themselves, or is 12 and never had the honour of playing during that era.
