I like free xp.
I like bonus spins.
But I'm not so sure about the uber-powerful weapons.
My opinion has always been that the best content should be available only to the players who have worked hard enough to earn it. Chaotic weaponry is a perfect example of this, because the equipment set cannot be purchased merely with money, and requires a good deal of work to acquire. Even items that are super-expensive target a harder-working player community, though not as reliably as the Chaotic set.
I hope that my love of my own hard-earned chaotic set isn't contributing too much to my resentment. I've conceded to the fact that level 85/90 equipment and above will be released eventually, but I hope (as do multiple other people, from what I've read on this thread) that this equipment won't be handed over to us like a fistful of cookies. This sort of thing undermines our dedication to the game and all the hard work we've put forward in order to achieve high status.
I like, however, that this weapon set will likely include at least one item from each combat style (Magic, Melee, Ranged) and that it will create some friendly competition between players who prefer each one. Perhaps the fourth will be some sort of combination of the weapons, with the ability to fight with any style for a small damage sacrifice, or perhaps a shield, to promote the new abilities of the Defence skill. I look forward to hearing the new details next week.
Some suggestions:
-Limit the xp received from the weapons
-Limit the domain in which these weapons can be used
-Handicap each weapon in some way (limit accuracy or impede defensive moves)
-Don't tell us about the limitations yet, for business purposes
