Hello, I got some tips for you, if you dont mind.
If you go through with this I think it will bring more Runescape players back. I know that alot of my friends and their friends quit Runescape because you made people unable to merge items. Me myself had a very long break because you made it almost impossible for us to merge items. I can give you some examples: (this is a long time ago, I dont remember when but still...) I bought Armadyl Godsword for about 60 million coins just because I was trying to merge it. Some days before I bought the Godsword it cost 120 million coins and some weeks before that it was down to 60 million coins. This made me think that if I buy the Godsword now, the price will raise again but it didn't... Instead the price dropped and dropped all the way to now were it has been staying for a very long time, around 27 million coins.
The same thing happened to dragon claws. They started at 30 million coins but raised to 40 million coins. Then the price dropped again to 32 million coins so I thought the price would go up. But instead it dropped and now it's down on around 7 million coins. VERY LAME...
My point is. If you raise the price then you drop the price and keep doing it like this on rare items like AGS, BGS, SGS, Dclaws, Phats, Santahat and all these kind of items, alot of good and old Runescape players will come back to Runescape. Not all but alot of them trust me. I'm 100% sure of that. If you do like this and bring back more of the old and good Runescape players more people will start playing Runescape. I can explain to you why. If the old and good Runescape players come back they will definitely recommend this game to other gamers, means you get more players, which leads to Runescape growing, means you get more members, means more money for the company which is good for the game too because you can expand the game to make it bigger/even better than it already is.
