my story begins on a sunday morning at 5:30am. hooked the boot up to go to the lake and go fishing with a friend mine. got to the lake started catching our live bait with my casting net after about an hour we had anough bait to fish. we went out non the lake fished for about 5 hours had a good day fishing. then the storm rolled in started thundering and lightning so we fired the boat up and went closer to the dock and started fishing there after about 20 minutes it started to rain really hard so i went to start the boat and the ignition caught on fire so after 5 minutes or so i got the fire put out. now my boat wont start and its pouring rain luckly another boater was coming in a gave me a tow. after another hour i got the boat loaded and was ready to head home and forget about this horrible day i was having. when i arrived home i wanted to get away so i got logged into Runescape and i started to spin the squeal of fortune first spin i got a med lamp but my second spin i hit the jackpot and scored myself a Fish mask that made the rest of my day areally good one first rare item i got one the squeal of fortune it really made my day. so thanks Runscape for brighting my day. it was a great day

The "Choose your fate items" are great!
Though are there any boundaries with these "Choose Your Fate Items"?
Why are people complaining about getting free items; these kids are like a bunch of cynical pensioners!

Hm, after I get this xp, I will most likely to be able to wear my obsidian stuff! That I can't spell/prononce to save my life. :P
Well, this i a great bonus to mems, but I think some non mems would be a little left out from this, but not like Ican do anything about that. :P
Well, this will be a good summer for me and all members! :D

*facepalm* having read through over 20 pages in this forum i've noticed that not a single person has read the home page before ranting about quitting due to these updates.... particularly the choose your fate...
"Choose Your Fate is a selection of four of the most powerful rewards ever seen in RuneScape. Members for the entire Sizzling Summer (1st August GMT until 30th September GMT) will be able to choose a total of four of the following rewards:
Dodging death – This nifty reward lets you come back from the dead and re-spawn with all your gear still intact and life points fully charged.
Emergency healing box – On your last legs? Don’t worry! Anyone who consumes the healing box will be healed instantly and restored to maximum life points. Better still, become a life-saver and use your healing box on your friend or clan member to heal them instead!
Instakill dart – You're fighting for your life in the God Wars Dungeon: your health is low, and you've chugged your last Saradomin brew, but your foe isn't letting up. The answer is here. The instakill dart will kill whatever target you face with one almighty hit!
Remote deposit box – Stuck in the middle of nowhere and need to empty your backpack quickly? Use your remote deposit box and - voila! - for 5 minutes, any player can use the deposit box to send items back to their bank.
Choose wisely - these items can only be used once and will expire on 31st December 2012.
The only way to get your hands on these elite items is by being a member for the whole of August and September.
These items will never be available through Solomon’s General Store or the Squeal of Fortune and will be non-tradable. With the exception of the remote deposit box, they cannot be used during PvP."

Rwt wise I believe that'd be like 90 mil? I don't Rwt or I'd have more then like a fury as bank, but personally I think most people would rather Rwt and get that 90m than a few decent looking items >_>. Not encouraging Rwt'ing or anything of that such as I feel it ruins the game, the same way the squeal of fortune and Solomon's store do. At least we can look forward to the Primed Bot Nuke? Also Jagex, would be nice if you added some like 70+ all skills worlds or something since most bot's only train skills they need for max money. Would help legitimate player's avoid the problem. Just a thought. Probably won't see this so don't know why I bother but figured I'd at least state my opinion. Would also be nice if they gave certain mods that have proven trustworthy the ability to flag accounts or temp ban players to help fight bots, and set-up a system of some of the more active players, some slightly less below, and such and kind of like a tree system to siphon idea's from genuine players. Players on the bottom could host events and send the better idea's to the next level, if they view the idea as good send it up, repeat. That way rather than a J-Mod event where there's about 20 players flaming saying "Squeal of Rwt" and other dumb stuff like, the two or so players who actually have decent ideas, and the other 40 who are just like "OMG J-MODS" or "Please Trade ME!!!!" you could ACTUALLY receive some good ideas. Just thought these ideas could work well if implemented decently and reduce the flame while giving you feedback on updates like this, or ideas in general.
