My biggest issue is when I google the tag "dark bow osrs" or the like, I click the first link (safe as usual) and occasionally I'm re-directed to a page about something completely irrelevant - like a guide on pest control or something, as an example.

Upon some drastically brief investigating on Reddit, others had similar issues. It's just frustrating how players can so easily do this, as harmless as it is.

I personally have adblock and use it everywhere, so find little difference between the wiki and wikia, anyways. And when Mod Infinity was always editing the earlier days of the wiki here, I'd help submit hundreds of edits as well. I was a content editor on a couple fansites, too. Those were the days. Now, they just all either seem redundant, outdated or pointless.

With all that said, cheers to whomever tries to keep the info up to date, nowadays. I'm sure it helps some people.

I got an email saying my authenticator got disabled even though I never had one to begin with. I logged in only to realize that I lost 500m in items and my bank pin was attempted to be canceled. I immediately changed everything. Can someone from Jagex please explain this. I did not into anything suspicious. Can someone find the source of the

Seems they now started to redirect people from Fandom to Wiki, even though they said they won't be bale to do that........ Time to copy/paste all back to Fandom and report Wiki. LOL............... why is that dumb? You can't go around deleting stuff to which 100's maybe 1000's of people have contributed. The way you think about it already gives me bad vibes and makes me steer clear of this new Wiki as sounds toxic to me.
[chocolate]Hey, I don't agree with Stinkowing's phrasing. The part about not being able to delete content (which isn't really ethical anyway) is true though. A lot of people have asked why we don't just redirect pages to the new wiki - that isn't possible because Wikia wouldn't allow it. And, let me be clear, we don't intend or want to vandalise the old wikis.
ROFL, how funny......... I got below when clicking on a link at Fandom: You can find the page you were looking for at https://runescape.wiki/Treasure_Trails/Guide/Compass on the official wiki -- RuneScape on Wikia/FANDOM is no longer maintained. Hello reader. In case you are unaware, the RuneScape Wiki moved away from Wikia to an independent site supported by Jagex, bringing benefits such as: up-to-date runescape knowledge and wiki software a fully ad-free browsing experience toggle-able dark mode. The new domain is https://runescape.wiki As a result, the old site is outdated and may be incorrect due to vandalism. So ye, it turns out you do redirect people now..... time for us to copy and paste the shit back on Fandom report Wiki to Fandom.

I don't understand what you mean. The new Wiki also has records of the old contributions. For example: https://runescape.wiki/w/Within_the_Light?action=history&dir=prev

If you were to view the recent changes on Fandom, you'd see it was someone's sockpuppet account that edited some high use templates that resulted in that message.

Copying text content back to Fandom would be in violation of CC-BY-SA-NC on articles created after the fork and would be likely DMCA'd by those who wrote it on the official wiki. This has been done before if you were to check the deletion log and Fandom does not like editors to copy content from a non-commercial entity.

The Runescape official Wiki is not as good, comprehensive or fast to update as the Fandom one was. I am nothing to do with Fandom (just an ordinary RS player trying to find the best information to support my playing RS) but I surmise that some of the people who were managing that page decided to sell out to Jagex so they can have an official title and feel important. Fine whatever floats your boats and makes you feel better about your lives. I don't care too much about that.

However now mysteriously people have edited the Fandom original version of the wiki (which I kept using despite trying the new official one as the fandom has better content which helps me enjoy my game more) to delete a lot of content and replace it with "aaaaaa" and other nonsense. It doesn't take much imagination to think the culprits are the sour-puss sell-outs from the official Runescape Wiki since this only seems to have started happening since the RS Wiki was created.

Please spend your time working and improving RS official wiki and then people like me will want to use it. Using your time to sabotage external things we use because RS official wiki is not up to scratch is a very perverse way of trying to get people to use RS Wiki....
