Great! Now even Runescape Is selling cash for real life money. But yet they say they dont support 3rd party sites selling gold/accounts. But they will sell spins and cash for 10-20 dollars at a time. Jagex, I hope you read this. You are a bunch of hypocrites. I would say Just making third party trading legal. Because thats what your doing, But instead of you supporting them making money, You make money.

I'm really unhappy about this. I don't mind Soloman's General Store, as long as it's purely cosmetic. However, as long as SoF continues to offer xp lamps and gp, buying spins can actually give players who can afford it an advantage over players who can't. It's completely unfair. I pay to play, so why should I pay more in order to keep up with the players who can afford to keep buying spins? With these new cards, Jagex has made it much easier for people to buy spins, which in turn makes it harder for legitimate players like myself to stay on par with them. I've worked hard for every level I've gained, and I don't think it's fair that players can effectively buy their way to 99's. I wouldn't have any problem with SoF if either a) buyable spins are removed b) xp lamps and gp rewards are removed or c) both options happen. Since it's clear that Jagex has no plan to get rid of buyable spins, I with they would at least get rid of coin and xp rewards. That would be the only fair option.

Wow, let's just look at my list of complains.
1. The cheapest item costs five dollars. That's the cheapest item and it's not like you can hold it your hand. That is ridiculously expensive, no matter how cool the item is.
2. Easy access gambling for KIDS! Moral objections or lack there of aside, that is ILLEGAL in most of the countries where computers can be afforded. Jagex is now breaking the law. Just because your a virtual world, doesn't mean the law doesn't apply to you. Also, isn't it just a little hypocritical in light of your supposed stance AGAINST gambling? (In reference to the PokeSlots, they didn't use actual real world money now did they.)
3. It is in the rules and philosophy of this game that as long as you buy a membership, you can get access to ALL GAME CONTENT! Exceptions for past event items were acceptable. A CASH SHOP (let's call it what it is) IS NOT! I don't care if it's a cosmetic item or not. If I'm a member, I want it included in my membership.
4. But what about Xuan's? Xuan's is a loyalty reward that I can get with out added irl costs and is available through membership. It's not some $5 and *10 extra.
5. The items look pretty but as some one else pointed out, why are they not being added to the Mini-Games or to quests? Oh, that's right, Jagex has the insatiable, morally bankrupt and bloodthirsty "investors" to feed. Apparently they matter more than the people who actually play the game and foot the bills.
Squeal of Fortune's rwt update met with epic backlash, what makes you think that we'll just lie down and take Solomon's obvious money grab? The equality and spirit of the game have been called into question and clearly, Jagex has lost that to Corporate Interests.
I joined Runescape because it was the only online game that hadn't pulled this sh*t, now I'm wondering if I should just switch to World of Warcraft or Farmville and enjoy a little honesty, it's not like their integrity is any worse. The game is Runescape not Ruinscape.

I'm interested to know why you have brought out a game card available only to the US...when Jagex is based in the UK..would have thought you'd offer it straight away to us too, and not just the US :S

I see nothing wrong with this except I still think the spins shouldn't be able to be bought. They still have items that effect your in game status.
Solomons shop however, just has cosmetic items. These items are just for fun and help you in no such way in game cept you get some sweet looking stuff with bad stats.
