Jagex is sticking with RuneScape, Idle adventures is being licensed out to another developer called Hyper Hippo.

For anyone that isn't aware:

Idle Adventures has been created for PC until the game is fully finished. It'll then be available on Android & iOS. According to the news post released in February , you'll also be able to check the game from anywhere, on any device, once the game has been released on mobile.

Love it! Its a great idea to take advantage of the offline/idle time to complete tasks, meaning when you return you have heaps of rewards to collect. I'm wondering how far it will go in terms of level, and there's definitely room for growth (overall level count, logout screens, avatar customization) but it's already a great game in its first stages
I would love to see rewards for your runescape character upon reaching certain milestones in the game

Now we just need it for iOS!

Funding this new game is a waste. It should be used to further benefit the dying community of RS3. 65% of the Runescape community is maxed, new players have mostly died off. Please reconsider this. You could make so much new content with the money you will spend on a crappy phone app. I personally will not be playing idle adventures, seems like a huge waste of time. Anyways, whatever you do please don't forget about RS3/OSRS.
