To elaborate further on some of the things in my previous post regarding armor:
It is very confusing to me what exactly armor does now. For example, prior to EoC, one could look at a piece of metal armor (say, Dragon Chainbody) and compare it to another piece (say, Black d'hide body), and determine exactly what the benefits of each are. Using the above example, one could look at these two pieces of armor and discover that the black d'hide gives a +30 ranged attack bonus over the dragon chain, making it better for using ranged. One could also gather that Black d'hide has a +50 magic defense, but Dragon Chain has -3, making you more vulnerable to magic.
On the other hand, in EoC, such a comparison is impossible. All you're told from the equipment bonus screen is that Dragon chainbodies have 864 "armor" (whose effect I can't ascertain), and gives 2160 life, while Black d'hide gives 960 armor and the same life.
