I guess I wasn't too far off.

I just read elsewhere (and checked multiple sources) that another pressure is that china's steel industry stinks now and it is only expected to get worse.

Makes me think this acquistion is an attempt to get this mining company through the upcoming problems. Nothing about this makes me think that this mining company has any plans for the long term as it relates to runescape. And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

You should be careful by going through with this.

This means it can lead to something like this : you'll be working for someone/some company, making money by working for them. This leads to the fact that you'll be doing what they want to pay you for. Meaning you'll be making new content, which they like, in a speedtime.

I'd say be carefull! Stay your own boss and rule the way people like it (as it is now)! Don't become some company's employee!

As some reactions say, this can lead to the end of osrs. So be careful!

Kiwi got there first, but yeah, Jagex doesn't own Jagex anymore, and they won't have much say in this.

Jagex hasn't owned Jagex since 2005. It was only 2010 that one investment company gained majority. I'm a big entropy fan.

I'm a biologist in real life, and I can tell you that their main product (Parathion) is essentially a pesticide that appears to be produced without being inspected. I've got a bad feeling about a company that doesn't do QC on pesticides before selling them....
